The description listed below claiming 12K RPM fan appears to be wrong...

Yep...Halogen bulbs don't like water. No caps sounds like you are asking for trouble to me. Factory has them for a reason.
I love this feature: "The center (LED) brightness is 1 times brighter than the two sides. More focus for center brightness."Interesting....while looking at their bulbs....I found these....seem to be about 1000 lumens brighter than the ones I listed above. Looks like they added an additional LED (4 vs 3) Also seem fanless...

Yeah....I think it might be an error. I still haven't had a chance to get out and pull one of mine and see if I can find any evidence of a fan (internal or otherwise). Probably need to run it and see if I can hear or feel it if it's internal....will report back soon. From the specifications:
●Cooling: Built-in Fan
The LEDs will last longer than stock. I have the LEDs for over 2 years and have not lost one of them.I'm going with a 6" 6000 lumen light bar, so l may leave the oem bulbs alone. If not, I'm getting the impression from this thread, that the led aftermarket bulbs don't last as long in spite of their claims to the contrary?
I think the stock silvania silver star halogens are 55watt so...should not be any issues.Any issues heat wise going 50 watts per bulb over 35 per bulb?
I think someone got carried away with the cut and paste. I agree, no fans there, just a heat sink. That was part of the appeal for some of the original Nighteye products. (edit - if someone takes one apart and finds fans, post up about it!)The description listed below claiming 12K RPM fan appears to be wrong...

I also have a 6in light bar and love it for riding in rural areas where there are critters. I went with the hyperspot and also added 2 x D2 drivers "pods". The light is so intense though that without a controller that allows you to dim them I would hesitate to run them all the time. I didn't want ti install one of those so I hooked mine to my highbeams with an auxiliary kill switch and also installed the upgraded headlight bulbs. Hi checkswreck,I recently burned out a Cyclops headlight and bnschroder turned me on to some Chinese bulbs that he found. Doing some research, I see that EricV and Xclimation found these too.
Even better is that the $31 is for a pair (one box), while a single Cyclops would cost more than double that amount. So you know what to buy, here's the box with an original bulb for scale:

Comparison with the Cyclops in the middle:
I set up a piece of plywood in the garage and held the camera above the center of the windshield.
The first photo shows the NovSight on the left, with the OEM on the right, on low beams.
btw - I swapped the bulbs in the sockets and the results didn't change. Please just ignore the total mess on the work bench.

THESE DO REQUIRE THE LARGER/EXTENDED CAPS THAT ARE AVAILABLE IN THE FOLLOWING LINK OR FROM THE CYCLOPS KIT.

Riding on the highway and through the woods, the NovSights definitely are better than the Cyclops. To me, these are the shizzits and my thanks go to bnschroder.
I don't remember if I had to remove the plastic collar or not, BUT they should only fit one way or the other.Hi checkswreck,
Ilive in the UK my novsight bulbs came today, can i ask you in the instructions in the box it says to remove the collar off the bulb first, do you need to do this as this collar is the part that makes it a H7 bulb and need it to fit the bulb in place.
