I have seen some PIAA installations, where the switch is mounted on the handlebar. Where can I find a bracket that will work to be able to mount the switch to the handlebar?

TIA
I just used the double-sided tape provided and stuck in on the horizontal part of the fairing just forward of where the winglets attach, near the dash. It's not necessarily quick reach convenient but I figure when I ride they are either going to be on or off and no switching between while in motion (I have them aimed so they will not bother oncoming traffic).

I'm utilizing the Twisted throttle Denali harness and switch (see switch mounting location using a bushing and longer bolt) along with the PIAA OEM bar mount to hang the Vision X LED lights.

i used this (the "single switch" version), and it seems to work well. i mounted it to the left side mirror clamp, with the plate pointing down so that it's basically centered on the handlebar. (imho, this is another one of those cheap things that should have just been included in the kit, but oh well...)

interesting... i called PIAA before i bought the denali bracket, and the guy i spoke to said, "oh no, we don't have anything like that." post up a pic (and a part number, if you don't mind) when you get it.

OK, So I started to run the harness and there seems to be ALOT of cable length.

Can someone suggest a routing for the cables going to the actual lights?

I have the light switch running nicely along, inside the factory black plastic wire clips, the bundle that feeds the left side handgrip.

This is turning to be a big pain in the ass!!!

Help.

PS. The switch bracket has not arrived yet from PIAA. I hope by next Tuesday or Wednesday!!

I just folded up the wire and zipped tied it together and left it in the cavity in the cowling where the clips attach the plastic trim that holds the light brackets. You can see it if you look down past the tank from the top. Eventually I'll probably cut the wires to shorten them and re-solder but for now, I wanted to leave the length in the event I put the front crash bar on and wanted to move the lights from the current location.

i followed this (attached pdf) as a basic guideline. like JRE, i just folded and zip tied the excess length behind the cowling (basically, right next to the other group of wires that run along the frame near the headstock).

OK, so I got the PIAA bracket and its not good, Part Number E10-L4 78005. Its just a piece of flat steel.

I called PIAA and send them the pic from this tread and them are looking into it for me.

Will report back on what I hear.
