Received the medium today and after about 2 minutes I had it attached. ::012:: Took it up to 80 mph. It creates a nice pocket and I really like it compared to the stock. It's night and day different! It does vibrate more I'm guessing due to the rubber bushing mounts. It's a heavy plastic and doesnt flex at all. There is no lip but it doesnt need it. You're gonna like it! ::008::

Anyone willing to post up some pics of the medium screen on the bike outside with the whole bike in the picture? I have a medium Calsci that isn't cutting it for me and I believe it's due to the fact that it isn't wide enough at the top.

The VStream looks wider

Good to hear about the medium - anyone tried the "sport" yet? I'm looking for the smallest screen that will get the job done. From playing with the stock screen (see the vid below) I figure I need 2-3" inches more height, but more importantly, more width. The Sport version looks like it might do it...

Got em before dark. I like the look. I'm 6'1" so the sport screen wouldn't be enough. The medium really quiet's the ride. No buffeting.

Thanks DCS. Its odd the way cut outs change the air flow. The way I see it, if you're 5'7" or shorter, the stock screen is pretty good. The quiet pocket is lower and the size of the pocket is smaller. I bet the Sprt V-Stream works better than stock but I bet it moves the pocket up only by a couple inches. The medium raised it ~4 inches and since there's more mass on the upper end than the sport, the pocket is wider. Thanks for the vid, very interesting!

Sorry about the grainy picture, but below photo shows VStream touring screen #N20306 installed. I'm 5'11" and the top of the screen is about 1" above eye level. I have the seat in the low position and I have done the seat 4-bumper mod. I've got about 100 miles on this screen now, mostly highway @ 65-75 mph, and I can say that I like it. There is no turbulence around my head. I have the screen in the upper position right now; could probably install in lower position and still be in the pocket. Thinking that I will try that this afternoon. Rox risers should be here today...can't wait!

I've been curious about the Sport version of the VStream, but nobody here seems to have one - so I guess I'd better be the guinea pig!

Liking it so far, very well made and smooth air flow at town speeds. Didn't like the dark tint at first, but it's growing on me. Will be giving it a run over the weekend to see how it stacks up in combination with my Shoei Hornet.

I have the mid size VStream windshield with the Motorradgarage bracket. I just added the Yamaha wind deflectors and it's quiet as a mouse fart behind all that now. Really nice. Just sayin' .... Does Motorrad still make that bracket? I can't find it on their website. R

I ordered the VStream touring screen today. I know this topic is done to death, but I'll post my thought when it's mounted and hope to help the next guy make up their mind.

I'll add my 2cents in here- I ordered the VStream Sport w/dark tint. Got it last week, not quite what I was expecting.

The Tint is DARK. Yes, I know, thats exactly how it is described in the adds. I just wasnt too keen on the fact that now my direct forward vision is obscured for slow technical riding.

Its also only about an inch taller than the OEM screen. I know, I KNOW, thats exactly how they describe it. I guess what I was wanting & what I got are different things. My fault entirely.

So I sent it back to RevZilla for an exchange- gonna get the mid-sized sport-tour version.

I was impressed with the build quality tho, Very well made/ finished.

I think you will like the mid-size one. I'm on my second one now. Had to replace the first one due to the wreck. The tint is almost not noticeable. Perfect size for the bike. I like it very much. R ::008::

I have the 21.25 tall one in smoke. Manufacturer Part number 552401 or 062 70-N20305. So far I'm very happy ::008::
I tried the Yamaha touring and I was a tad too tall for it with Wasp's adjuster.

I logged 350 miles behind the new VStream Touring windscreen this weekend. In short, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Now for the full review.
First, Revzilla sells the VStream screens $20 less than National Cycle; a fact I didn’t know until after I made my order. I usually shop around, but in my excitement, I wasted $20.
What I was looking for: I’m 6”1’ with a 33 inch inseam. I stepped off my Harley on onto my Ten about 6 weeks ago. High among my reasons was the noise. I loved my Harley, but could not stand having a headache and ringing ears every time I rode. I always wear hearing protection, but the thing was too damn loud. When I made the switch, I wanted a quite bike. Not “quite for a motorcycle”. I wanted complete, and total, hear my stomach growling at lunch- time silence. My expectations were completely unreasonable, but I tend to shoot for the stars and settle for the moon. I knew the stock windscreen wouldn’t work, and after reading every review on every webpage about every windscreen, I made up my mind and placed the order.
What I got: I ordered the Touring screen. NC promised shipping in 48 hours and delivery in 7 to 10 days. I ordered on a Tuesday and received it on a Friday. I notice many companies are shifting their delivery model to “under promise and over deliver”, and they seem be following that trend. In any case, I was extremely happy to see it arrive before my trip.
What I found: It’s big, but not as big as the pictures make it seem. When you look at pictures posted by others, they are taking pics of the screen, so that’s what you see. When mounted, it is much taller than stock, but is not as bad as I was expecting. Does it look like a big ass windscreen mounted to the front of your bike? Yes. But I am happy to report that it works like a big ass windscreen too!!!
What I experienced: As stated I rode about 350 miles over 2 days. I mounted it on the higher settings. The first 150 miles were all highway miles averaging 80 to 85 mph. If I had mounted the flux capacitor, and my 1.21 jiga-watt battery, I could have made this post last week. The trip home was 200 miles through country back roads were I averaged about 65 mph. In EVERY case, this windscreen was excellent. I have about 2 inches of visibility over the top of the screen, so never had to look through it. Even toward the end of day two, and my posture had relaxed, I had plenty of room above the glass. The air flows just over my head, and there is no noise or buffeting. Slow ride through town… no wind noise. 95 mph… no wind noise. Merging onto an on ramp at 65 mph behind a semi (a real big lorry to our UK brethren)… a little bit of turbulence, but no wind noise. The only sound I heard was the chatter of my 1200 winding up like an angry sewing machine.
To wrap it up, I love this screen, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for similar results. It does a great job of redirecting the air, eliminating the noise and ensuring a smooth, wind free ride. This greatly improved my riding experience. My results were stellar, and I cannot say enough good things about the quality or the material and the performance.
My only disclaimer: the windscreen is only as good as your helmet. If you are wearing a cheap helmet, or “adventure” styling helmet with a visor, your results will differ. The touring screen displaces the wind just above my helmet. If I stand up, even a little, I am in the stream and get both noise and turbulence. A visor, or cheap seal will cause wind noise, so your expectations should be made with that in mind.
Hope this helps someone else with their choice, CB.

I notice you have the screen in the high position - I have mine on low, and it's just about perfect. I'm 2" shorter than you, so it figures... My thinking has been that when it gets cold or inclement, I have the option of raising the screen - but I haven't needed to yet. Great screen.

To be honest, I didn't know there was a high and low on the mounting bracket until I took off the factory screen. I'll try it on the low setting eventually but can't imagine better results.
I noticed your location. I commute on I-95 daily, and as far north as Alexandria on Wednesday nights. It only took one December ride home at 10pm to know I needed better wind protection. Of course when I hit the mixing bowl during rush hour, I need a damn tank to keep safe.

I got the sport for Christmas. Mounted it a few days later and road about 35 miles during the day before taking it off, boxing it up and sending it back. The screen was really nice, sturdy, and fit like stock and the tint looked great...from all angles except behind it! The problem was ,it was too dark for most locations when mounted with a Madstad. I tried every angle and height while mounted and even took the Madstad off and mounted it in the low position stock holes. That was about the only acceptable position. However, for me, the benefits of the Madstad outweigh the cool factor of the dark screen. Not to mention, I don't think I would like it at night in any configuration due to dark tent obscuring the area immediately in front of the bike. All of my previous bikes have had a dark tint windscreen...but this is the furthest behind the bars I have ever sat, and I think that was the difference. The wind protection was better than stock and the noise was slightly better (air a bit cleaner), but not worth the loss of clear vision. If only the sport came in Clear!

Staying with stock screen and side deflectors for now.

just FYI... bought from Revzilla... they had no issue with return. Third time I have needed an RA, and each time customer service is beyond reproach! Great Folks there.

I've got the middy VStream on TT adj bracket+factory side deflectors. Mounted so top of VStream is even w/ my nose (factory recommendation) and it all works well. Enuf air hits top of the helmet to work the vents. The vortex thing really works to organise the air around you. Also have a Garmin 665 hung on the TT bracket. Problem w/ the extra weight of the bracket+GPS and added wind screen area is that road undulations and buffeting winds caused movement of the whole assembly so could not read the GPS. Also had to keep re-tightening windshield screws. I think all was caused by (1) rubber mounting screws & (2) the factory base brackets are plastic. Was able to eliminate all vibration/movement by making some stabilizing struts from 3/8" brass tubing. Squash the ends in a vise. Drill holes in the flat parts to grab some mount points. Bottom mount is longer rear side deflector bolt with inside sleeve. Top mount is somewhere high on windshield bracket.
