Wow, this is a great list. Can the moderators make this a sticky so it doesn't move out of site?

Dallara,

Much appreciate the time & hard work that you put into creating a list such as this - simply amazing and makes my quest for the right parts and accessories a walk in the park now. :)
Thanks again

Added Yamaha factory USA printed service manual part numbers today, as well as a few other items over the past few weeks.

Just FYI...

Added EBC, Ferodo, Galfer, and Vesrah brake pad part numbers F&R.

These are in no particular preference. Just alphabetical order by brand.

Good stuff here, Thanks Dallara.

May I suggest the Madstad Adjustable Windshield Bracket be added to the list. It's a very good product from a great guy who provides excellant customer service...... and it's a total USA made product. Homepage is here: http://www.madstad.com/

Regards, Paul

Thanks for the links. ::008::

Final Drive Oil:
- Yamalube Friction-Modified Shaft Drive Gear Lube - part # ACC-SHAFT-LU-00 (http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/apparel/apscitemdetail/3/122/all/1/347/detail.aspx)

The description would seem to indicate it's not for the Super Tenere?

"Specially formulated to ensure the quiet operation, proper performance of the sealed wet brake final drives and standard differentials, except FJR1300, '09 ~ VMAX & '10~ Tenere. Contains a superior anti-wear, anti-scoring performance additive, dispersant inhibitor system."

The manual indicates "Yamaha genuine shaft drive gear oil SAE 80 API GL-5 or SAE 80 API GL-4 Hypoid gear oil")? Online sources? Thanks much!

Thank you for the heads up! ::008::

At the time this all was first posted with that Yamalube product on the list there was no such disclaimer/caveat on the Yamaha web site. Obviously Yamaha has now determined it should not be used in our bikes. As such I will be *REMOVING* that product from the list.

Again, thanks for having a sharp eye and pointing that out! :)

Those are some really inexpensive filters! I haven't been able to bring myself to use anything but the OEM Yamaha filters. They are a good bit more, but also on e-bay at ENL Sales: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-CASE-10-YAMAHA-OIL-FILTERS-5GH-13440-20-NEW-/290605774544?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D290580341400%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8134172366896020503

They were $20 less per case of ten the first time I ordered them from ENL... I wonder if the fact that the filters are shared with Jetskis, etc. has something to do with it?

very nice job. do you have it in a spreadsheet (so it could be modified) or pdf format? i would love to keep it on my phone..

filters cheap on ebay.... i ordered 10 for 34.98 shipped

No, I don't have it on a spreadsheet. And you can easily convert it to a PDF as it sits. Just open the initial post, print it to your computer as a PDF file, and load it into your PDF editor and play with it to your heart's content. That's essentially what I do (but needless to say I have the original on my computer). And yes, I have the entire list on my iPhone, as mentioned previously.

You can also simply *copy* all the text and *paste* it into any word processing program, and save it as a TXT, RTF, DOC, PDF, etc.... Whatever format you prefer... And work from there.

Nice price on the Emgo filters, but given the experience I had with Emgo filters back in my being a Honda dealer days I'm afraid I won't use 'em on my Super Tenere. ???

Just FYI...
