Thankfully you can’t see how slow I am in a photo. We spent some time laying out a trail we could follow, got 4 tenths of a mile set up and marked. Will add more in a few weeks .

Christmas eves eve , I sit on the couch looking back on a crappy year and it’s a year that just keeps on keeping on . It is definitely one to remember if not fondly. But there have been blessings in it . So I focus on them... and y’all have blessings too . Would like to think that next year will be better, but life is not always about being better. Sometimes it gets really bad and hangs around way to long. But what can one do . Stay focused on what’s good, be an encourager to those around us , remain calm in the midst of the storm, and it may take all the courage you have in a moment. But you will have enough to get through . I believe this to be true , so hang in there guys . It’s just life.

Yes sir to both of you. This crap is going to be over at some point. God willing I will be in the saddle of my Super Tenere and come out to visit my friends and family I have never met.

And man oh man Texas!! What a huge state. I will say it always blows my mind how diverse the weather and landscape is in your state for riding. Here in CA the off road riding is either harsh desert or dried up forest. In Texas you have dry, wet, lush green and even swampland.

It's alway strange driving from West to East Texas on the 40 during summer. West is dry and blazing hot. Then just before Oklahoma it cools down and you can lay a torch on the ground and not start a fire it's so green and beautiful!!

some one asked me if I ever rode my bike out of state . and at that time all I could say was , I have tried, eight hours of riding and I'm still in Texas so I turn around and just go home.

When my now wife joined me in the Navy, she landed in Boston. We traveled from there to Kittery Maine. It amazed her that we had traveled in/thru three different states within 45 minutes. She had heard about all the snow that falls up there and couldn't wait to see it. . . . until the first snow of the season was a NorEaster. . . . snowed for 2 1/2 days. :D

no pictures from Christmas and we had our family Christmas on the Eve , so Christmas Day was a lay around the house day and do a little honey do stuff.... we have a small house , and a converted garage is what I call an overflow room and has become a man cave of sorts ..... I keep my dirt bike in here next to the computer . but most of the excess crap we have gets stacked up in the cave . so yesterday we did a little restocking organizing and the Beta had to go outside for awhile . so fired it up and did 3 laps of the back yard , just putting around In 1st gear . our back yard is not huge but large enough to do some basic rider stuff if one is bored enough . and it has 3 levels of elevation and multiple trees to navigate .... I may just have to do a little practice every once in awhile . I never trusted the honda , it would stall in a moment . so what I learned is the honda was bad ass in more open haul ass stuff , the beta seems to be really nice being more technical ... and that's what I needed in the first place.

Friday both my Beta and Super Tenere come off the tenders and get started for my once a month 30 minute heat cycle. Sad I can't ride them.

I rode to the gym Tuesday, and was going to go take a pic of the Cresson Motorsport track for the moto-tag, but it started to mist. Not liking to ride on our roads in the dry, I wasn't gonna do it in the rain. Yesterday I had to pick up some chairs at HF, and it was intermittent rain, so. . . . Today is pouring, and cold. Next week looks good though.

For off road riding you are going to be hard pressed to find anything more fun or reliable than the Beta. I'm glad you are enjoying it!!
