I have been trying to decide on what to add after reading everyone's post here. I have been working the vibrations out of the bike slowly but surely however the post I have read changing the exhaust and adding the power commander intrigued me the most. I chose Jaxon at Wild Card Customs / Ride on to do the work. I will tell all of you right now that Jaxon is a first class guy and does great work. I have done business with many people over the years and Jaxon is right up at the top of the list for integrity and quality. I can't say enough good things.
I decided on the Arrow header, the Akropovic slip on, the long clutch and brake lines, the Heidenau K60 tires, New higher flow air filter- BMC?, Power Commander with Auto Tune, adjustments to the suspension and a Baja Design Squadron 3x3 off road light. The parts are all great quality and Jaxon had everything on site at the agreed upon times. I live in Arizona so traveling 1100 miles to have this work done concerned me in regards to having everything ready to go when I arrived. Jaxon had it all there except the front tire- bummer, certainly not his fault. The Baja Light truely turns the night to day. Incredible. I only did one light under the main factory light and it's awesome.
Jaxon took some pics of the Arrow header and the light. If you are on the fence with this stuff do your self a favor and jump off and have Jaxon get this stuff installed. You will love it.
Jaxon went to work the same day I delivered the bike and I really like his work ethic. He does not work by the clock, he gets after it and goes until he is satisfied it's time to stop for the day/night. I love that. He had everything done in about 1.5 days and I took it for a ride.
Prior to the work being done, I had the dreaded vibes at about 65mph and up making it somewhat a hassle to travel 2-3 hours at speed. When I got it out on the highway I was at 95 waiting for the vibes and there were none. I slowed down then tried it again in different gears, amounts of throttle etc.. NO VIBES! The acceleration is much better, the sound is great and I couldn't be happier. The only problem I see now is my wife is going to get really upset becouse all my free time is likely going to be spent on the bike now.
