I have been trying to decide on what to add after reading everyone's post here. I have been working the vibrations out of the bike slowly but surely however the post I have read changing the exhaust and adding the power commander intrigued me the most. I chose Jaxon at Wild Card Customs / Ride on to do the work. I will tell all of you right now that Jaxon is a first class guy and does great work. I have done business with many people over the years and Jaxon is right up at the top of the list for integrity and quality. I can't say enough good things.

I decided on the Arrow header, the Akropovic slip on, the long clutch and brake lines, the Heidenau K60 tires, New higher flow air filter- BMC?, Power Commander with Auto Tune, adjustments to the suspension and a Baja Design Squadron 3x3 off road light. The parts are all great quality and Jaxon had everything on site at the agreed upon times. I live in Arizona so traveling 1100 miles to have this work done concerned me in regards to having everything ready to go when I arrived. Jaxon had it all there except the front tire- bummer, certainly not his fault. The Baja Light truely turns the night to day. Incredible. I only did one light under the main factory light and it's awesome.

Jaxon took some pics of the Arrow header and the light. If you are on the fence with this stuff do your self a favor and jump off and have Jaxon get this stuff installed. You will love it.

Jaxon went to work the same day I delivered the bike and I really like his work ethic. He does not work by the clock, he gets after it and goes until he is satisfied it's time to stop for the day/night. I love that. He had everything done in about 1.5 days and I took it for a ride.

Prior to the work being done, I had the dreaded vibes at about 65mph and up making it somewhat a hassle to travel 2-3 hours at speed. When I got it out on the highway I was at 95 waiting for the vibes and there were none. I slowed down then tried it again in different gears, amounts of throttle etc.. NO VIBES! The acceleration is much better, the sound is great and I couldn't be happier. The only problem I see now is my wife is going to get really upset becouse all my free time is likely going to be spent on the bike now.

::026:: Jaxon per-purchased and did the install of my Arrow headers, Arkra exhaust, PVC and Auto-tune. Also installed extended hydraulic lines and plugged in latest maps. Bought K-60s and side stand foot extender from him as well. The best service ever. Just wish he was 400 miles closer.

I agree, I spoke with Jaxon, stand up guy for sure.

Question for you, how is the light wired? Where did you put the switch, is there a switch? I have a light coming and I am not sure how I am going to wire it. I am leaning towards it coming on with the regular headlights but at around 5% power than when I kick on the brights I can unleash hellfire and damnation, the light is over 2000 lumens. No switch to worry about, just cleaner looking. Anyone know how to do this? I don't want to bother with the switch and I purposely picked the nerdiest guy in my electrical class to partner up with on group projects....

All sounds good, but what is the explanation for less vibration from changing the pipe and adding lights?
Very large number of photons cab do that. Iif the number of photons emitted from the forward facing light is excessive, the bike will start to move in reverse......... unless the ECU has been reflashed! :D

I bought a pair of LED spot lights and was so impressed with them I bought a pair of them in a flood light style.
The spot lights are on a switch, the flood lights are wired in with the high beams. They work well and can be bought for about $100 per pair. They draw very little current compared to traditional or halogen type bulbs.

There is a toggle switch up by the dash. I wired it in with a 15a fuse wired direct to the Batt....

So the thread title seems a little misleading. "Lots of new stuff..." I see pictures of a light. I think someone still owes us some more pictures!

I apologize for not including pics , I didn't think the pics would add much value as the different bits are hidden or well known in terms of looks. The power commander and auto tune are not visible as they are mounted on the right side of the bike by the ecu. The tires are well, Tires, the K-60's . The BMC air filter is an un restricted air filter and somewhat similar to a K&N filter. The Akropovic slip on can be seen on the Akropovic site and is almost not visible on my bike as I have the Yamaha Paniers on the bike. The Arrow header is a bit visible but I figured everyone knows what they look like.

The light is about the only thing visible and Jaxon has posted the pics of that. I can certainly tell everyone the add ons are well worth the money and transform the bike into something that is amazing. I wish Yamaha would have delivered the transformed bike to begin with but I understand they need to draw the line in the sand somewhere. I rode the bike today for about 3 hours and it's very hard to keep the rpm's at a lower level since they can get pretty high very fast. I hope I don't get any tickets !

Would be happy to talk to anyone on the phone about doing this stuff, just pm me and we can hook up.

I wrongly assumed that "lots of new stuff added" meant added to the list of products at www.rideonadv.com website, rather than bits added just to your own bike...

Are you sure the light will not contact the front fender at full fork compression?
