Hi All

These are my current bars and would like to keep them on, looking for some ideas or suggestions to add top ones for the plastics, is there such a add on? would or can they just be bolted to existing mounts etc??
Another option is the Rumbux OEM add on bar that replaces the Yamaha upper hoop with one that has upper side protection. It slips right into the existing lower crash bars you have, just like the OEM upper hoop does. The orange is the new hoop, the black is the Yamaha lower portion. It comes in black, this is just to highlight the new part. Cost is $375 with free shipping in the lower 48 US states. (And I'm putting in an order now, delivery the week of 7/21)

Since the lower bars are Yamaha, I don't have any pictures of a bike on it's side, but typically on level, flat ground, the lower bars touch ever so slightly before the upper. There are some pictures of the full Rumbux 3-Part kit on my bike, laying on it's side to show how things touch HERE

Hey EricV

Thanks heaps for the feedback, would the standard foggies bolt straight back onto these?

You would need to use some kind of bar mount for lights. They would no longer fit up in the nose on the oem mount tabs there. If you have the Yamaha H7 halogen lights, Rumbux has a three piece light bracket designed to work specifically with those lights. Both the Yamaha and the Rumbux are 1", (25 mm), tubing, so any standard 1" light bracket will work fine. It's just a matter of what kind of light you want to mount. The oem H7 ones use a yoke mount. Rumbux made their three piece specifically because mounting the Rumbux kit made it necessary to mount the lights on the bars instead of the oem location in the nose. They can be used w/o the yoke for many smaller single post mount lights.
http://www.rumbux.co.za/galleries.html Pictures 7, 15 & 16 show the light brackets well. The light brackets are $40/pair if purchased with crash bars. On their own, $40 plus shipping.

I want to put my order in tonight, so jump if you want in. I'm not going to be able to change the invoice on this order since I need to move it along and be done with the front end of the order by Wed.

Edit - I actually have a pair of the light brackets in stock at the moment, should someone want them before the end of July.

I run the Alt Rider bars from Revzilla and a ACD skid plate which I'll be modifying at work before my next oil change. Going to make the oil filter cover removable and open up the holes for draining the oil. The ACD covers alot of the underbelly and the pipes.

Hey, thanks much! I just watched the video on Revzilla's site and I'm sure leaning this way!
Well, either the Givis or the Mastech ones.

I guess I should hurry-I ride in soft sand pretty often. Would be dumb to wait until "after!"
