I did not get the Owners Manual so I am missing some of the references. Won't get the manual until Tuesday. By then I should have completed the 100 and 600 mile oil changes. What does the manual say about the Final Drive (FD) oil change? What type and weight oil is used in the FD? Am I correct thinking the engine uses 3.28 quarts (3100 ml) of oil? Thanks for the needed info.
Final Gear:
SAE 80 API GL-5 or SAE 80 API GL-4 Hypoid gear oil.
Bolt Torque 23 Nm / 17 lbf

Engine Oil:
3.10 L / 3.28 Qts without filter replacement
3.40 L / 3.59 Qts with filter replacement

Manual says to change the final gear oil at 600 miles / 1 month.

I will probably use Motoman's break in, but not sure if I can do the oil change at 20-30 mile after hard break in like he says. I'd have to stop at an auto parts store and borrow a pan and filter tool. I may do that though. I'm gonna use dino oil until 3rd change then switch to synthetic I think.

I did not see a post by Motoman. Is there a different thread for break-in or where can I read his brea-in procedure?

No need to be that instantaneous, just don't leave the OE oil in till 600 miles. I rode mine about 50 miles using Motoman and my own routine. Swung by the house and dropped of the oil and filters purchased while they finished setting up the bike, then rode it some more and showed it to all my buds that are tired of hearing about it. Put it away the first eve with 90 miles on it.

Sat Am, I rode the 6 mile loop I use to warm up for oil change and other service and changed the oil. Yamalube mineral for this one and probably the next. Then I plan to go synthetic. Of to ride some more today.

1115 miles, we are broke in! Feels really good, and has good power. Course I have not been out of touring mode yet, LOL. For the 550+ miles I did this weekend, AVE mpg on the computer shows 51.2. Lots of backroads to Talimena and home again.
