I have in the past year or so slowed down on my milage .... some of it is work or weather or just other things getting in the way . but I'm not looking forward to a flat . went for a ride with neighbor, he made it one mile and picked up a nail ... my day will come .
now I have picked up nails in my rear tire on my Tenere , never lost air , patched one replaced one . tubeless are great .

I did install another tip that LEXX has for their exhaust , not as loud , going to be better.

I'm thinking I might do a bit called " tale of two DRs.". a side by side comparison of the neighbors 650 and mine. going to have to take a few pictures first.

My friend is trailboss , a well known Dual-sport rider. His is the black DR . Me , I have the white. More information to come about how we have the bikes set up .

one black 2022 DR650 and one white 2023 DR650.
neither have the stock seat , the white has a seat concepts and the black a sargent....both belong to trailboss , the owner of the black bike .
both are better than the stock seat . I found the sergeant better than the seat concepts. so trail boss has ordered a seat from fisher seats. we will see .

another difference is exhaust , his is stock mine is a Lexx from rocky mountain with the quiet tip. he liked mine so much he ordered his today. he felt that my bike was torquey winner of the ride . white and black are jetted similar , snorkel removed with lexx exhaust on white , black stock exhaust with snorkel.

today my neighbor put his sergeant seat on my Dr and is planning to sell his seat concepts . he has a Fischer seat coming this week.
the seat concept was better than stock but still a pain after an hour or so...... time change sucks and I'm feeling it. come on government pick a time and leave it alone. spend half the morning changing clocks .

Put new tires on the DR today, kenda big blocks. The rear a 130/80/17 . Wasn’t real sure it would fit . Could not find a 120 rear any where , so glad a 130 is an option.
