Must be nice to have neighbors that sneek over and leave upgraded motorcycle parts. I've never experienced that.

we have rain this weekend . so did an around the block between showers . it's firm and wider and feels better than stock right away . my neighbor bought a sergeant seat for his ..... hmmm , if he don't like the SC then why would I ... I like my Corbin on my super Tenere , its firm . so I hope I like the SC..... going to have to do a long ride to feel it out , so to speak.

My seat concepts seat is breaking in very nicely. Not sure how many miles are on it but I do know I don't want the stock seat back! It was very firm but is feeling a bit softer now. I have a sergeants on my Super T. It is very firm and I really like that seat but it is also wide enough my whole hiney is on it so that really spreads the load better than a dual sport seat can.

we have a winter advisory this morning and snow flurries as I type. a major icing event is being forecast for the next couple of days ... Saturday and Sunday look nice and dry in the 60s for a long ride . on the stock seat about 40 miles or an hours worth of riding is when the discomfort starts , that's the bench mark of success .

-11 here this morning, high today is supposed to be 0
-15 tomorrow morning but will warm up to 6
February 1st is Wednesday and I’m hoping to ride the Goldwing if the roads are still reasonably clear, that should give me 84 months of consecutive riding.

We're even supposed to be below freezing on Wednesday. But we're back above 60° by the weekend.

People down here would lose their mind(s). I saw lines at the gas stations, and the grocery store parking lots were full. o_O

We're +25° and precipitating. Don't really know what to call what's coming out of the sky, but it's not rain or snow.

butt ugly nasty here as I drink coffee.... trees are covered in ice as more rain comes down .... we have power , but some in the area do not . trees I think causing most of the issues . my trees have limbs almost touching the ground because of ice weight. my phone says there should be snow falling , but on looking outside its just rain , so far..... the ice is messing with the A/C fan outside.

Oh goody. 29° and it just started pouring rain. That'll make it better. Sometimes there is something to be said for droughts.

Put new tires on the DR. I was using only the tool kit i put on the bike to see how road side repairs would go. I pinched both tubes! I havent pinched a tube since i was 18! I repaired them and used my shop tire irons. Much better. I will need to adjust what i am carrying. Good test! Oh the tires feel great. Dunlop 605.

I don't think I've ever had a flat on a motorcycle in all my years of riding . started at 16 , I'm 65 now.... now that I poked the bear I better be ready.
even on my Beta 300 riding in the cactus and mesquites , no flats.
