CM4, it is just right on the DB scale for riding .... the more open tip that came originally is not brutal but on long highway rides the loud drone was wearing me out . and for 20 bucks the quiet tip is marvelous.

the 3 men in last photo did some more gravel roads , I chose to stay on pavement . and we had planned a meet up at a bbq restaurant . some issues with on e of the bike prevented it . so I went home . and we met up there .
trail boss , bongo , Spiderman and myself Madhatter had a good time.

that's the bike Spiderman brought to the party , man has no fear, I'm afraid of everything . he owns a Aprilia race bike , the BMW is as I understand it a gift from friends. cool guy , lots of talent .
and I was not riding my best so it really stood out to me .
so trail boss was the guide leading this motley crew , he was able to set up and do some action pictures at water crossings etc. he has not shared them with me . trail boss knows the hill country like no one else , if there is a back road paved or dirt worth riding he has a route to get you there. he even has a book out on riding the hill country...
so trail boss would ride ahead and set up to take photos , then we would move on . my photos happened at breaks .

that was a 2012 BMW , Spiderman said he thought that there had been a driveshaft failure some time in its past .
the stock seat is a butt killer good for 30 minute rides , seat concept was better but a couple of hours only before it was time to get off . the seat on my bike this weekend is a sergeant best of those I've tested , about 6 to 8 hours before the squirm .... trail boss had a Fischer seat he was just raving about , most of the slope that plagues dual sport bikes was flattened out ... he said he liked it better than any of the seats previously mentioned . seems he ends up with a Fischer seat on every bike he owns . must be good.
