Bloodline,
In my view, all is fair when it comes to commerce, Caveat Emptor and all that, so your earlier protest implying that this thread belongs to you is an interesting marketing position, but kind of bogus and a little arrogant to a simple guy like me. Arrogance really irritates me. Restriction of trade also irritates me but I can deal with it by going with the other guy. In fairness, your price is pretty competitive, but it's about a tank of gas or so for my bike, too high. If you had offered to price match, you probably would have gotten my business in spite of your manners, but you didn't.
That said, anyone on planet earth can get a "Genuine" Yamaha 4-year extended warranty for $379 from a legitimate Yamaha dealer in Colorado. Yeah, I know it's only $25, but it adds up, and in this economy, frankly, I don't know anyone who can afford to be charitable with everyone who asks. You'll have to fight for my business if you want it, just don't try to limit my options.
I have no personal stake since I already bought my warranty, I'm just trying to help my friends here on the forum. All they have to do is search a popular online auction site to find it. Maybe it's time for your Uncle to review his sales policies, eh?
