Just had a heads up from Race engineering. The Hardware is on the way from the US. Shouldn't be too long until they are all set up for the S10.

If it makes the engine even better then fine, but I would not let something like that be a deal breaker. I am already enjoying the bike as it currently is.Rasher said:My buying decision may depend on the results
Excellent news. Just need to compare this flash with the OffTheRoad one and make a decision. If they want a bike to play with I am happy to take mine over. Would be great for them to do before and after dyno runs etc.stevemac said:Race eng have the kit now. They want to have a play around with it before starting to sell the flashes. They'll contact those that have mailed them when they're ready to go.
I understand they have to develop these maps and probably put a lot of time into getting a new map sorted, so would expect to pay a "fair" amount for the reflash, but £340 does seem a lot. I am sure Yamaha spent millions developing the bike in the first place, but they don't ask £1,000,000 for each bike.Poohbear said:From what I've seen and heard so far I don't think the gains are worth the outlay. £340 is a lot of money for a few minutes work!
