Off The Road’s claims relate to the Gen 1 bike, so I can’t comment on them. However, for a Gen 2 the power increase claim is absurd. The throttles on the Gen 2 do open 100% at wot from 4000rpm onwards (in Sport) - below that they don’t because the engine can’t use the additional fuel. Neither is it clear if they do anything other than the “throttle flaps”, presumably the ride by wire maps. There are so many other adjustments possible to fuel and ignition maps, throttle and acceleration enrichment by gear, adaptive learning, engine braking and deceleration fuel cut.
It’s quite expensive for a generic flash and they’ve advertised 25% off for at least the past 8 years! I’d steer clear and get Grant at Wiz to reflash your ecu for far less money if you want a generic map, or for a dyno jobbie, Chris at CJS just south of Bristol (Chris also has some excellent maps dyno developed by himself or other tuners, but they’ll cost you more than Grant charges)
