Re: Dual exhaust line for the ST. Evo 2

love your bike JaimeV!
I know you're not interested in panniers and passenger and it's a bit early for me as well (I don't own a S10 yet, just a matter of time) but I'm already farkling it in my mind. My questions are: can you still mount the passenger footpegs and if you do, does it get (too) warm for the passenger? still able to mount the panniers as well.
big thank you in advance

Hi Akira

Yes, I’m interested in panniers but I'm not in hurry.
ACD, the people who are developing my skid plate said they want to make some for the ST, so I hope when they finished the skid plate they start with the panniers.
No problem to mount the passenger foot pegs and the OEM panniers (there are some pics in this thread) with the dual exhaust. Also you can fix two identical panniers.
About the hot in the passenger, I’m waiting to have the definitive exhaust to do a trip with my wife. She doesn’t like much riding and she’s a good complainer so then I can tell you.
The S10 is a good election, go for it!!
Good luck! ::003::

After 9 months riding with it I could say they are finish… at last!
Now the mufflers are shorter than the firsts ones to avoid to hit the rear brake caliper in suspension full compression, they develop new supports and a system to fix the OEM blinkers. The sound is quite similar.
Next Monday (10th December) I’ll going to pick the bike to None to finish it completely. They only need to make a bigger heat protection in the left side because with the shorter muffler now the pipe is longer and that’s it.
They gave me the price in Spain: 630€ plus taxes.
Monday I’m going to ask them their plans to start the production and I tell you.

If there is enough interest in the exhaust I hope con persuade the to build some head pipes. They build them in a very thin stainless steel to improve the power….

These are the first mufflers

And the shorter. I fix a Touratech heat protection and they want to build a better one fixed to the pipe.

Jaime, any idea whether these will fit with pannier side racks installed? Also, how's the noise level? Have you had a chance to compare them with the Akra in this respect?

You have the answers in the beginning of this post.
No problem with the OEM panniers, they fit perfect. With other brands it has the advantage you can have the same capacity in both sides.

I had an Akra for some days to compare it. With db killer the sound is different but the noise level is similar:

Yamaha Supertenere dual exhaust with db killer

Without is louder

Yamaha Supertenere dual exhaust

When is all finished None is going to make a video to show how it looks and how fix in the bike. I'll tell you when finished.

I was under the impression that they've been busy redesigning and refining the mufflers for the past 6 months. The May prototype numbers are still accurate for the final iteration?

Re: Dual exhaust line for the ST. Evo 2 FINISHED!!

I picked the bike in None with the exhaust finished. They improve the heat protections and some minor changes, it looks great and the sound is better than before. ::012::
Mine is hand made, the production ones they are going to be melded mechanically so will be better finished.

Now they are going to start the production..
The price is 630€ plus taxes (21% in Spain) and transport but they sell all over the world.
More info at: info@noneracing.com

They supplied it with aluminium brackets and a system to fix the OEM blinkers. No problem to use it with the OEM panniers and passenger pegs.
They said if there is interest they could make a special offer to a group buy. ::008::

This guys make serious stuff:

Hope there is interest on it and we can convince them yo make som head pipes!!

I think it would also look good with a integrated tail light.

Here it is, quite a easy system. The two bars on the sides are the aluminium brackets to hold the exhaust.

Behind: a sexy bottom... :p

Great job Jaimie
I've sent them an email to put me on the list ::012::
Sound is great and looks even better, I ride solo so getting rid of the pillon pegs & fugly plastic is good
Hopefully shipping to Canada won't double the $$$
I've got a Motorad carbon can on now & like it, but this system will do more for me
Thanks for this

You are quite a spolied boy!!: carbon muffler, now the None.... ;)

The exhaust work fine with the pillion pegs but offers the big advantage (to me) to take them off.... and as you say the fugly plastic cover. Also you can take off the black one near the left foot witch annoys to ride standing up.

Shipping is always a pane in the ass. Share with us the cost when you know, but is going to be a big and heavy box… could be about 100$???
