Do you have the 3200 or 4000 bulbs?
Mine are 3600 lumen, bought in November of last year. Did they ever make a 3200 lumen?

Funny that they don't bump the part # as the LEDs and lumens change. The part # on their site for 4000 lumen version is still CIL-LED-H7-S10, same as when I bought them at 3600 lumens.

Regardless of lumens, great upgrade and worth the money (as upgrades go). Although I do get flashed on occasion. Never happened pre-Cyclops. May need to tweak the aim, but it happens so rarely I'm not too worried about it.

Thought I had seen 3200 but I must be incorrect.

Never know, Tim. Things change quickly. That's why I think a part # change would be in order, so you know what exactly you're getting even in the after market.

I have to send one of mine back.. one of them is a bit off and Cyclops agreed it may have an issue.

One thing to remember is they only have a 1 year warranty - I'm not too crazy about that for something this $$$.. I have never liked how the lights look to other vehicles... the LEDs don't light up the lens as well as the OEMs do so from a 'be seen' perspective they are a negative for me. As for light output, yes they are an improvement.

They will replace a defective bulb if under 60 days old but will try to fix one older.. so, I put the OEMs back in and will send the defective one back.

Can you qualify "a bit off" - brightness, color, projection, etc?

Just curious as I will be sure to inspect mine for similar.

If you look at my pic above.. the right light is a different color/intensity. Cyclops cust svc agreed.

I put a set on my new 2016 this summer. Brighter light overall but not any more distance. The cutoff was similar but because of the brightness I wound up lowering them slightly. Still a sharp cutoff on the top and bottom. I alleviated that with a set of 10W leds mounted on the crashbars. Now I get a good pattern even heeled over in corners. I made sure the light pattern didn't rise high enough on low beam to blind oncoming traffic. I have not been flashed yet.

Thanks...I couldn't tell if the pic was off because of the sun hitting the left side and not the right or if it was a manifestation of the lights themselves.

No, looks the same even if it were in the garage. I first noticed when stopped behind cars/trucks that I could only see one intense light in the reflection.

Installed my kit today, tight space for big hands.

I had to rotate the left bulb counter clockwise about 30 degrees to get the light output even. I modified the little plastic piece to hold the bulb in the new possition. The wires are at 2:00 on the right and 12:00 on the left.

The output is great!!!!!

I installed my cyclops headlamp replacement kit last night. Fairly easy 30 minute job. Biggest issue was getting the plastic base to remain flat when you put the wire bail on it. Haven't had a chance to wheel it out after dark to make sure the headlamps are still pointed straight?

I've got this kit on order for delivery tomorrow. I am intrigued by the comments of having to rotate the lamp to improve output and modification to the ring. Has anyone got a good description of exactly what is being done and how with respect to rotating the position of the lamp? Thanks.

I installed mine according to directions and it went well. I did not have to rotate the lamp (other than what positioning was called for in the instructions). A bit sticky lining up the new housings to fit cleanly though. The cutoff was about the same. Intensity was more pronounced but distance not very much. I added led aux lights to help with the light pattern when cornering.
I suppose I could play with the rotation to see if it makes a difference, but I'm hesitant to mess with something that's working.

I've replaced five sets of the H7's and now, with the Cyclops LED Kit, I hope the bleeding has stopped. New owners... do yourself a favor and purchase these bad boys. Zero install issues, love the light quantity and quality. Have the front end angled downhill during install to help keep the plate against the housing while fiddling with the spring. I guess tape top and bottom would help, too.

HINT/ USEFUL TIP: I went to switch my Cyclops from old to new but one of the rear covers had gone oval and wouldn't lock in place, bugger bugger bugger. So emailed them to see about getting hold of a replacement, had a response in less than 2hrs.
"Use a heat gun and it will return to its original shape" and it did, also " put a spot of RTV sealant on the lip to lock it in place but can be easily undone" which it does.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I guess I'll not worry about this rotation business, at least initially. I'm planning to change out the little marker/position lights for LEDs as well whilst I'm at this.
