Monkey Butt 300 ride this weekend and I just decided to go for it and borrow a bike (still have not ridden anything since my crash 20 weeks ago) from the dealership (Skagit Power Sports), since the 1098 was going to be too much to start with again.

Then, 20 monutes ago, I got a call from the dealer and he asked if I really wouldn't ride my new shiny black...................................that's when I yelled out in the quiet control room I work in!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

So, someone spotted the delivery truck and called the dealer who called me!! Helped unbox it, really really really like the sparkly black in person!! Assemble tomorrow, pick up Friday!

There are 5 of them up at Skagit Power Sports, all spoken for. Mine was first one open. Anyone else here getting one from Skagit?

Just got my VIN in the mail from D & H Cycle - # 000038. Hopeful on picking her up early next week!

Sweeeeeeet. I guess I'll call tomorrow to get a VIN since mail will be days to get here I bet. So you guess they won't have yours assembled and ready by Friday or you just plan for next week? Maybe I'll see you Wednesday. I'm taking some back road routes to get to Hotlanta and then I 20 to I 95 and up.

Yeah, a little slow but at least we know the bikes are in. Seems like some of the staff has had to be off for funerals and other things that impact each of us on a personal level when they happen. She did say a technician was going to be working tonight and tomorrow night to try to push more out and there is an off-chance mine might be ready Saturday. Not planning on that but hope I get a nice surprise..............

Got my vin # 97 and official letter. One week left to wait! But at least I'll be able to take it too Canada this year. That should be a nice ride in September.

Got it in the mail today. Mine is #89 and now nearing 5 days til me and Raven meet up. I never name my bikes, but a raven needs a beautiful brunette name. It'd be the only one I'd be riding for sure methinks .

P.S. I received my letter from Yamaha yesterday stating that the bikes are shipping to the dealers and I should be getting a call soon. ;D

I received the letter yesterday. There must be a group hallucination going on, I've felt like I've been riding it since Wednesday.

Boy is it going to be fun when they REALLY get here!

I think there are MANY people that do not have their bikes yet. I personally know of several including myself.

Was hoping for it to be tomorrow but the technician is off for a funeral and off for the weekend. I have an appointment to pick her up Wednesday. As some consolation, I did get my letter from Yamaha telling me we would get our bikes in August

I just got back from my 600 mile round trip to Romneys + a 50 mile loop on the bike while I was there. Now I'm just wishing for a rainy day so I have an excuse to install the accessories instead of riding ???
