Mine had 8 miles on it, and yes, they should do a test ride before you take delivery, but I would be very uncomfortable with test wheelies.

For what it's worth ..My dealer says it should have a 1 to 3 mile test ride done on it by the assembling mechanic.. But that is it !!

Just called my dealer he says it's showing in the warehouse and that Yamaha was trying to expedite deliveries. Denver area.

Same here in northern Colorado........

Black one on the way to Butte Montana. It left Seattle on Wednesday but they must be doing a milk run. I probably won't get it until Monday.

Just got my VIN from Longview. It ends in 479 which is high as it was a Sept. order just goes to show that they are doing them the fastest way possible not in some preset order. But even the late orders have had a pretty long wait so I think it is great that we all gt thm pretty close together. I am amazed that we are getting them this early after looking again today at some of the pictures of the mess from the Sunami. I am 500+ miles from Longview so won't get to pick mine up till next Thursday.

This Canadian guy will be getting a Michigan bike tomorrow. The trucking company has had it for a day and wasn't going to bring it in until Monday. Luckily my sales guy was able to get it delivered tonight.

I'm one of the D & H waiters too. I've got to make a reservation to fly into Huntsville or Birmingham, but Jerold prefers Huntsville to pick up I think due to closer and less traffic than B'ham. I may go ahead and book it for around 8-11 or 12 since surely they will be in and ready to go by then. Anyone else flying down to pick up in Cullman, and if so are you making reservations now before officially being notified?
