Lowes had every size except for the 5mm. I don't even think they had a space for it.japako said:I'm surprised they did not have it at Lowes. That's where I found mine.

What tires are you planning to use?pluric said:I felt I wasn't alone. So now I'm back to getting the S10 together with the original wheel
straightened (again) and see how it goes.
If you bought a KTM pluric, you would spend most of your money on straightening bent rims.pluric said:I honestly never thought I would have so much off road fun/use on a bike this size and after
the Baja ride was considering a KTM. Then I saw this in a ride report. Front KTM wheel from
a Baja ride.
I'm going to stick with the K60s for now. They seem to wear well and if this off roadAlsoRan said:What tires are you planning to use?
At a certain point I think it's only fair that the rocks start taking their fair share of the blame.GrahamD said:If you bought a KTM pluric, you would spend most of your money on straightening bent rims.
At some point you have to realize that it's the rider not the bike... ::024::
Think of it like the cagers Pluric, it's up to you to miss them, not the other way around.pluric said:At a certain point I think it's only fair that the rocks start taking their fair share of the blame.
Speaking of cagers. I took the midlife in for a service and asked them to check out a highEricV said:Think of it like the cagers Pluric, it's up to you to miss them, not the other way around.

I am alternating between and but I don't know which one is going to win yet....
Can that be fixed?
If you're worried about your wallet... you're in the wrong hobby... ???pluric said:Sure, I suppose. It's more a matter of can my wallet ever be fixed? :'(

On teh bent rim thought. Will wheelies bend the rim? I don't do wheelies, just wondering.
Hi Pluric, I'm sure you are the best wheel tester. :pluric said:Well after the fourth time to send a bent wheel in to be straightened I decided to get a new wheel set up.
I sent the rear wheel to Woody's for a set up they recommended. Got it back this week and put it on the
bike.
I wanted to run tubeless tires so they silicone seal the rim and wrap it
with tape.
It will be interesting to see how it lasts.
It's an Excell rim.(I think)EricV said:Looks really nice Pluric. Perhaps a silly question, but can you still re-tension the spokes, if you find one loose? Just wondering if/how that impacts the silicone sealing when the nipple is rotated.
And which rim did you go with?
I hope this is the cure for your wheel issues.
