Really bummed to hear about it Mortiis, but sounds like you've had to get closer to get by.
Gotten into some other activity that can be done together, such as kayaks or something?

Sorry to hear about this, missed the start of the thread as it pre-dated my ST.

Can she go on the back of your bike, or I suppose would she want to

My wife wants to do her bike test, it is funny how as a biker you advocate biking so strongly, yet the thought of a loved one taking it up scares the hell out of you.

I would say I am lucky we have both shared and seperate interests and I do a fair bit of riding on my own, often while she rides horses - which makes motorcyling seem very safe, she buggered one hip up years ago, and last Christmas we spent new years day at Hosptial having scans on the other one after she fell off a nag - and is having another hospital appointment soon and may need that hip operated on now. Not put her off as she is out on one of those crazy creatures as I type this.

Hope it pans out for you both, and good luck with the house stuff, want to move myself so can feel your pain with way the UK economy and lending market is.

Mortiis, sorry to hear about how this has gone so far. Sounds like Emma is blessed to have a supportive husband. Certainly understand why it's a challenge getting adjusted to the new situation. I do hope that after this transition time the two of you find activities you can enjoy together, and that your best days are still ahead.

Good luck with the sale of the house. I do wish you and Emma all the best.

Life throws us all curve balls, its just a matter of how we deal with them. When I read about Emma's permanent disability, I thought of this episode of Counting Cars (http://bit.ly/QemBWD), a new show on History Channel here in the States. Good luck to you and Emma.

Hey Chris ... real nice to see you on here again even if it is just a quick visit. I do hope that Emma and you are bearing up to the pressure of all of this. Give it time and I'm sure that things will seem better. A truly good life is whatever you make of it.
Keep your chin up m8 ...
