WIND ...makes a lot of difference to the S10 mpg ..it has a massive frontal area , ive noticed when riding into a strong headwind the fuel consumption drops like a stone .
That's a given with any vehicle.
Always welcome wind at my back.

Just finished 5000km trip. Averaged 5L/100km. About 8-10 km/hr over posted speed limit most of the time. Way over the other times. Fully loaded with camping gear

I'd rather be riding!

With high test non ethanol gas I average 50 to 52 mpg. It drops about five miles per gallon with normal high test gas.

I'm getting 43-44mpg on mostly highway miles but moderately aggressive riding and avg 75mpg on highway. I wish I could find non-ethanol gas around here. When I was in NC a station had some but it was lower octane grade only.

I get 40-42 mpg with a mix of highway and canyons. I have arrow headers with stock muffler and custom map. About to hit 32k miles and definitely still loving this bike! ::022::

My 2016 is sitting at 3500Km. I zero my Ave with every new tank and end up with a 4.9 L/Km. This is based on a good mix of commuting and open road riding.
