It seems, from reading the different threads through the years on whatever motorcycle or motorcycles I've had through the years, that there was always that little bit more, or extra, or less (weight), or fancy, or updated, etc, that posters wanted from the motorcycle they were riding at the moment. During my VTX1300, DL1000 and now S10 forums, there's always that extra want from the motorcycle owner that the manufacturer should have added. But, what I would ask, why then complain about the bike? I'm riding the motorcycle with some compromises, now. And, I rode motorcycles in the past that had some compromises. I do not mean compromise in a negative way. I can list what they were, but we can leave that discussion for the Wintertime Blues in a few months. Go find that bike that had the extra HP, or the TC switch on the fly, or the Brembo brakes, no buffeting, or the chain/shaft, or the better display, lighter weight, or the larger fuel tank, etc. I have some answers; that unicorn of a motorcycle would look like a Frankenbike that isn't made yet but close, (GSA?) Pick a different bike than the S10. Let's be honest, probably only 70% (low number) of us older fat bastards don't have the ability to ride the S10 to it's full capacity anyway. I am in that 70%. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that riders with Yamahas, Honda, Suzukis, Ducatis and Beemers and HDs and whatever manufacturer, wish that the current motorcycle they were riding at this moment had that little extra too.
