I haven't mounted anything to my accessory bar, but just looking at it, it doesn't seem to be vibrating much. Does mounting things there increase the vibration? I'm also wondering if the tire you happen to be running affects the frequency and amplitude of the vibrations. Seems like it would. I have some semi-shagged BattleWings on my Tenere now, so perhaps that is why I am not getting as much vibration as those with more aggressive tires.
Once you mount something to the accessory bar, any bumps/dips/gravel road/vibration, or anything the suspension doesn't absorb, will be greatly amplified to whatever you have mounted. If it's small, lightweight like a voltmeter, you may not notice it. But a larger, heavier item like a GPS you will definitely notice.
I had my GPS mounted both before and after I installed the accessory bar braces, they made the GPS readable again. And this was using the OEM tires. Well worth the 20 bucks.
Props to Propsoto for making these available. ::012::

Mounted mine today. I have the OEM winglets and am going to make one change. I'm going to get 1" screws to give the bolts more length for the nuts. They work great.

Thanks.

Martin, your signature lists a 2012 S10, these brackets are for 2014+.
I just picked up a 2017 ES. I haven't gotten my GPS mounted so I just want to see how much vibration there really is first.

You Gen 2 guys are so lucky. I need one of these for my Gen 1 and Madstad bracket. The accessory bar on my Madstad shakes like a wet dog.

Not to be criticizing the design O:) but a piece of 1/8" x 1/2" is all that is needed to just one of the holes.
The triangulation of support it gives is all that's needed to strengthen the front windshield assy from bouncing around.
My bike is 2012 but the later ones are not that different.

IMHO! ::014::

I will praise you for getting people to give you money for your design though! I'm all for the Free Enterprise sys! ::008::
Using both holes makes for a cleaner install so you can mount the wind wings flush. If you weren't using the wings then a piece of bar stock would be fine.

Yes, a simple piece of 1/8 x 1/2 would work fine if I wanted my S10 to look like a KLR. And yeah, this has been incredibly profitable! Between the cost of laser cut out brackets, shipping and 40 min round trip to the PO, I only lose a few $'s on each pair!

Thank You! to those that appreciate them.

Greenwall the last one is yours. Just PM me your address and send $'s.
Did Greenwall take the last one? If so, I may try the simple straight approach. It is a good design, anyone with a 3D printer try making one?
