Hi All,
Does anyone know if you can still get a set of these brackets ? I have just got a S10 Gen2 and the Satnav wobbles about all over the place.
Thanks in advance for your help

I don't see this on their site, maybe discontinued? Would be nice to have for my 2013 with the Madstad.
They still sell them with the kits, have you tried contacting them and asking if you could get just the aluminum side supports?

I've sent a query. The used bracket I got from another Forum member didn't have them, but he sent the original instruction booklet that came with the bracket and it made no mention of the support bars, so maybe it was an early model before they added the side supports to their kits?

Here is the .pdf. I printed it at 100%, taped it to 1/8" 6061 aluminum, cut out with a jig saw (laser table would have been nice) and filed in a vice to clean up edges. True Value had some rubber grommets for the mounting holes. I used SS 1/4-20UNC x 3/4 LG Button Heads to mount. Everything lined up really well. My mounting holes were drilled 3/8, 5/16 would have been ok.

I'm unable to upload the Solidworks or AutoCAD files here. If you send me a PM, I'll pass them along.

Now does anyone have a way to keep the ciggy plugs from vibrating out?

thanks for sharing. I’ll take a copy. It’ll give me a reason to fire up the bandsaw and sander. 1641279883248.png

I was in contact with MadStad today, and they do have Side Supports for the MadStad 2010-2013 and 2014 & Up windshield kit. While the 2014 and up bracket is not listed on their web site. Just call or email them at their contact email. Ask for an invoice which you pay and they ship out the parts. They were very quick to reply to my inquiry and very helpful. To make it even better use their listed promo code and save 15% - Use Promo Code NEWYEAR15.
FYI - I am not affiliated with MadStad Engineering but I do appreciate any vendor who provides friendly and quick service.

Here are the dimensions, if you don't trust printing the .pdf. The attachment is just the sketch from Solidworks. If there are other Solidworks designers out there, yeah I know it could be cleaner. It was tricky to measure and fit up, changed many times, had to cut out many paper templates.
Hey Propsoto
I've only had my S10 since November and one of the only issues I've had was the excessive movement of the screen and fittings on bumpy roads/terrain and high speed. I used your dimensional template you kindly posted on here for the support brackets, got some made from 3mm aluminium at work and hey presto, problem solved. Thanks a million
