Love the risers and am very much looking forward to a more customized fit.

Thought I was going crazy the other day on the final leg of a lap around the Great Lakes. Even though I have risers I got that somewhat familiar ache between the shoulders blades that I got before installing them. You'll be pleased to know it wasn't the risers, it was a heart attack. On the mend and eager to ride.

Glad you're still among the living.... it must have been connected to just getting your new bike!!! ::025::

Thanks for the kind words jimsgone! Yeah, it began in Gananoque, ONT with about 240 miles to go. My stubborn nature should have clearly thought better than to out-ride it.

Although it wasn't one of the bigger ones I've had, it sure was no fun sitting at the Thousand Islands Canada/US border in 87° for an hour. :'(

I had every zipper and vent open including countless imaginary ones while I popped nitro like pez. Remarkable how good home and family can look in the home stretch after a couple weeks. Arrived drenched in sweat and fairly miserable. Things unfolded quickly and went well from there. One stent did the job. Unfortunately no stranger to this, so panic was kept in check by extreme foolishness and unclear, pain-jaded thinking. Had silly thoughts of unfamiliar hospitals and it being a hassle to retrieve the bike later. Oddly, common sense was the last thing on my mind.

Theretofore the ride was wonderful, especially the north of Lake Superior:

Might be time to start pairing up for the longer rides, But I do so enjoy my solitude.

Thank you Chris and God Bless you as well. I wouldn't have enjoyed the ride so immensely without your risers.

Best,
John

Travex, hope all is well.

ironranger, lets say I was going to take a trip in about a month on my 2014. Should I go ahead and buy the universal risers to get me by?

Thanks again.

Yeah, I don't get that either ThreePutt. Who'd want to ride a bike that doesn't fit? In addition to having had a father that made him put risers on his big wheel, he probably doesn't need to try on shoes for a proper fit either.

Let's just move forward optimistically toward Chris' work with the assumption that one size doesn't fit all. ::008::

Threeputt: I think a month will be ok for the natural finish. The anodized version will not make that I would say. I will have a firm date on prototypes by Monday. The design is complete, just need to get them through the machine center at this point.

This thread is great especially for a noob. I rode just over 870 last weekend. Not only did I hurt Sunday night, I was in a little pain all week. I will definitely be in line for a set of the 2014 risers. I got the Seat Concepts cover and foam which is really nice but I can't sit on the back part which is way more comfortable. If I slide back to sit on that section, I'm hunched over too much. If there is a mailing list for these risers how do I get on it?

Hey all,
The non-anodized S10 version is done. pics attached. I will send out a set to Travex and a local rider for fitment test. Once I am confident in the set-up we will make them available. I would like that to happen in the next few days. Thanks for your patience.

Chris
