Looking for some input/advice on getting the ECU flashed on my ‘14 Ténéré. I’m from the Kitchener area (Ontario) and curious if anyone on here knows shops around here to get it done. Or Canadian companies I can ship to for a flash ?
Also any input on flash options would be appreciated.

What are you hoping to improve with a flash? And what is your riding style? A search here will provide several options for getting the flash done, including a forum member that can customize to your needs to a finer degree than most of the big companies.

ECU Unleashed has dealers in Canada, I believe. You'll have to contact them from their web site to verify.

Thanks Eric ,
Mainly looking to unlock more power and tune for the aftermarket pipe I’ve got on. Smoothing out the “throttle off” would be nice too, although it’s something I’ve gotten used to.
I’ve seen ECU Unleashed in my searches, just wondered what others have used

Anthony, (avc8130) on this forum does custom re-flashes and can do just about anything you want. The thread is HERE.

This is an efi bike. You're not going to get more power to any significant degree. The aftermarket pipe won't change much of anything w/o removing the cat-con as well. Yes, he can smooth out and minimize the engine braking when you go off throttle. A lot of people seem to desire that. Read his thread, ask some questions there or PM him and see what he can do for you. He's generally pretty responsive and has been here a long time. Not in Canada, but that shouldn't be too big a problem really. The ECU is small to ship. Canada Post will do fine. He's done quite a few now so likely can suggest what works with the pipe you have and tweak it to meet your preferences.

I also asked how you ride for a reason. If you tend to be a brake in, throttle out of the corners kind of rider, you'll appreciate the flash more. A smooth, steady rider won't notice much difference at all.

The problem with the Canadian vs. US ECUs is that the Canadian models have the immobilizer firmware so they must be flashed with Canadian ECU specific software.

Jsflashtune is in Toronto and has done an S10. I have never used them, nor do I know anyone that has.

It's an option though and they seem well reviewed.

+1 For 2wheel dyno works near Seattle. I'm booked in there next week to get my '17 flashed. Talked to them over the phone and he mentioned they've had a number of Canadian riders bring their bikes in for the flash. I like to support local businesses too.:)

Hmmmm, good point. So, who and where in Canada does these flashes? Thanks
