    Clutch Basket Remove/Upgrade/Installation

Been complaining long time over vibes and spend way too much money and do not feel spending another AUD$800 or whatever it cost here with installation, might not get rid the vibe issue anyway. Got big problems after I was riding the big blue a lot in Feb this year and with physio, doctor, rest...

How many have received the new Clutch basket and what do you think?

Just got back from my local dealer with a price of the Primary Drive (Clutch Basket) AUD$580 and 2-3 weeks wait from Japan. A bit high compared to what you guys over in US paying :-0 Contacted, think it was Stadium Yamaha but they never got back to me. Place where to get one that also ship to...

Clutch Basket Change Really Does Make a Difference

Wow. Cheaper than buying a new bike which I have been thinking about due to hand/arm issues which becomes worse with vibes, thank you all :-) Now just need to find a place that ship to Australia or if I can find a basket to a reasonable price from Yamaha Australia.

    Clutch basket questions

Seems like everyone that changed to the new clutch basket like it :-) If it makes such a difference it would be next to price less especially if you already got sensitive hands and arms. Which company is best 7 cheapest, part#? Cheers!

    Trailer hitch

Re: Trailer Hitch for Tenere? I`m thinking the same way as Avc8130. I just got a WR250R as well which is another awesome bike and can not praise it enough. A trailer behind the ST with the little WR250R would be great :-)

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I gave my ST a stable mate, a WR250R. They complement each other in an excellent way :-)

    Super Tenere Recal Aus.

Stock gear rack cracked, got an AltRider now which is very sturdy :-) a great rack that I can easily attach and stack my RotoPax fuel cells (the rack is already prepared with holes for the RotoPax attachment) or my heavy loaded Givi trunk.

    How to use traction control

I find TC2 works very well on dirt roads :-)

    Super Tenere Recal Aus.

Might as well recall the useless plastic gear rack as well! Could be dangerous to other traffic if whatever is attached to the rack fall of due to a weak rack :-(

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Installed Heidenau K60 110/80 front tyre 2 hours ago. Seems to complement the rear Heidenau nicely.

    Heidenau tire problems?

Got the rear K60 a few weeks ago and really like it but still got stock at front which I want to change to a Heidenau as well, might not be the absolute best street tire but like many others I did not buy this bike to ride 100% on bitumen. They are expensive here down under but if they last a...

    breakaway cruisecontrol

Actually the name is Omni Cruise and yes I used the rubber band and without it also with different grips but it did not work good far from it, might be ok for others but not for me, only paid around $50 though.

    breakaway cruisecontrol

Used Go-Cruise but does not hold speed long, not long at all until it slows down :-( Not happy with that product, collecting dust at the moment.

    Front tyre?

Ok. I got my stocker Tourance at the front, is that classified as smooth? Think I will change it to a Heidenau soon, kind of like the rear one. Many thanks :-)

    Front tyre?

Maybe he did not like the Mitas due to longevity but to be fair he does not have a ST but a GSA so maybe handling differ a bit. I`m so far quite pleased with my tyre choice at the rear just need a great front tyre to go with it. No rush, still got plenty of thread on my front tyre which only got...

    Front tyre?

I though the traction with the Heidenaus was good... I got the Heidenau rear mainly due to a mate of mine was not too impressed with the Mitas, next time maybe Mitas and they are way cheaper here as well :-)
