How much more desirable is the ES, or help me to decide.

I would get the Z and the upgrade the suspension. The ZE's suspension is not better than the Z's, it's only electromechanical. Of this makes sense, you may what to search for STOLTEC and TRAXXION DINAMICS.

What is the weird pipe on 2014 LED turn lights for?

Hola, one friend did the install, but Yamaha's technician cut the resistors and ruined the system. The biking rate was fast. We found a set of resistors and reinstall them but the blinking rate did not become normal. We will need to USA a 50 ohms 20 watts resistor per side, or change the...

    Yamaha Heated Grip Installation

Re: Yamaha Heated Grip Installation Ok, so with the non OEM we have not seen any difference between each grip. Indeed, the PUIG control does not match colors or sides. Either way is OK with that set. We did not check for left and right. It seems to me it does not matter; if it did, the OEM...

Re: Yamaha Heated Grip Installation Hola Gaps, OEM grips come also with two color coded, but I did not see any indication of a maching colors when installing so I did it really checked that. I do, however, believe the two grips are the same. I do not see how the throttle tube could affect the...

    Yamaha Heated Grip Installation

Re: Yamaha Heated Grip Installation Right on. On my 2014 ST I have the OEM grips. I measured resistance and both grips are the same. For the non OEM (in this case the PUIG) both of them measured the same resistance, as the OEM. I cannot recall values. So as you asked, we just connected...

I'm Now a Firm Believer in Suspension Mods

I was also skeptical about suspension MOD. But I did it, with Stoltec . I have both front cartridges redone and my rear shock totally replaced. I must say I absolutely love it and I do think is the best mod one can have. Regarding Stoltec, it is a Penske system, with new linear springs...

Guys, I recently learned that it is totally possible to change just the fuel filter. Why the GS is a better bike.

I had an GS1100 once, I put 50.000 miles on it. Now I own a ST. To make a long story short, the ST, compared to a GS, is like a mistress: it costa me half the money and, as the ST is much more reliable, I have a much a twice the fun. Does it make sense?
