USA 37mpg in winter, 40-42 in summer @ 4200 ft. Mileage doesn't fluctuate much. Never saw anything above 45.

Really don't get all these responses. Have a S10 from the beginning (at least in the US) and it is without a doubt not a speed demon. What this bike excels in is the torque, not the horsepower. Tractable not terrorizing. Worry free, not highly tuned. Stock the power delivery is flat...

XD3 is awful on the Tenere. Very noisy! I think the peaks are useless anymore with the sun visors. Not once have I wanted goggles on a dual sport. Modular helmets work best for me, nice to be able to take a picture or talk without taking off the helmet.
