having the gps mounted high above the speedometer behind the windshield is much safer in my opinion versus having it installed low on the handle bar, you want to be able to see the road while glancing at the gps, you can when mounted high not when mounted low....did you see that car braking...

MSR Reactor for me. fyi the 10th character in the VIN # is the year of production. According to VIN charts posted on the web, your new bike should display a -E- which indicates this is a 2014 model year.

I was on the net the other day and came upon pics of the 2013 Ténéré 250cc, woah I did not know we had a baby in the family ! now Yamaha has 3 models in the Ténéré line. Bummer we may have to to rename this great forum if they bring the 250cc to the US/CND!

Heard on car TV show this week that Shelll V-power fuel has no ethanol in its components. They even tested it in a formula F1 car ans to their surprise, gave similar performance ! Make sure you store the bike off season with non ethanol fuel and stabilier.
