    Reunion Ride

There are lots of pretty roads in Arkansas in the Ouichita and Ozark National Forest areas. One of my favorite stops was at Magazine Mountain - the highest point in the state. I've not been on the Pig Trail Scenic Byway but it looks like a good ride from South to North. +1 on getting gas...

    Most comfortable ear plugs?

I've tried the silicone custom-molded plugs, the simple foam plugs, earpeace and similar, but the neck foam on my Shoei RF1400 is so tight it seems to dislodge whatever plugs are in my ear when I put the helmet on. But on the positive note the RF1400 seems to block the annoying noise I got...

Luggage choice : Bummot, Metal Mule, Touratec, Holan

https://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?threads/show-us-your-panniers.2767/ I have Bumot and think they are outstanding. I have the toolbox in which I can fit a mini compressor and tire plug kit, and a set of torx wrenches. It's handy, although the rear opening is right in front of the...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Installed an Antigravity lithium battery. The original battery was not that old but seemed to be struggling trying to crank at times. Finally left me stranded as a gas stop requiring a jump start.

    Tips for cleaning windshield?

For heavy caked-on bugs cover the area with very wet paper towels or cloth (like shop towels or an old t-shirt) and let sit for a few minutes. This will soften and loosen the bugs for easy removal without a lot of scrubbing.

    Klim Badlands Pro review

That's what I do. I read multiple reviews indicating the Klim suspenders did not work well / did not stay attached. IIRC, They are a 'Y' configuration - single strap in back, two in front. I went with Carhartt suspenders and they are cheaper, made well, and work quite well. No issues with...

where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

Ah yes, the Willow City Loop - a great ride during bluebonnet season in the spring. Lots of exotics on the ranches out there, I've seen ostriches, zebras and other non-native deer and antelopes during my rides.

    Looking For A New Bike

FWIW - The RideNow Austin (I-35) website shows a S10 in stock. When I bought my Triumph Thruxton there I got an immediate 10% off MSRP because I had Progressive insurance. Use the VIEW OFFERS button on the site to see other partnership relations that might qualify for a discount.

Welcome, and enjoy the Tenere! I've enjoyed long distance touring on mine. For my Thruxton, I bought a combination PC app and ODBC interface cable (Dealertool) that lets me reset the service light and read/reset codes if necessary.
