I am so glad to finally get a new Super Tenere. I never made friends with my 2022 Tiger 900 and am getting rid of it after just a year. I've had a couple of Tigers and a KTM 1190 Adventure in the last few years but keep coming back to Yamaha. I wanted to like European bikes but now I hate them all. Paying the Triumph dealer over $75 to simply reset the service light was the last straw. My T7 is my fav!

I'd probably get every model Tenere they make if they made more. I used to be a KLR guy for 20yrs but after getting a T7 in 2022, my mind was blown.

I was expecting just a bigger KLR. Totally, and completely wrong. Nothing wrong with the KLR, but it's just that everything is so much more right with the Super Tenere. The T-7 is the much better off-road option. But on-road? The Super will be the better option. Hard to beat cruise control and shaft drive on a bike that's this reliable.

I think my T7 is WAY better on the road than KLRs aside from the seat... but yes, not as comfy as the SuperT. The shaft drive is totally awesome!

Welcome, I too was drawn to some euro bikes but after an unhealthy amount of research I landed on the ST. I've been on Japanese bikes almost exclusively and they have never let me down. I don't know what I was thinking. I test rode a tiger 900 and the bells and whistles wooed me for a minutes but aamfyer riding the ST I realized it was perfect without all the bells and whistles.

Welcome, I come down through Chattanooga once or twice a year. Stay down by Calhoun and go hit the mountains. Was just there this past spring on some rough fire/forest roads. Had a blast.

Welcome, and enjoy the Tenere! I've enjoyed long distance touring on mine.

Paying the Triumph dealer over $75 to simply reset the service light was the last straw.
For my Thruxton, I bought a combination PC app and ODBC interface cable (Dealertool) that lets me reset the service light and read/reset codes if necessary.
