Tenere with factory bags spotted this morning heading east toward Wall South Dakota on I90. I was on mine heading west to the Black Hills. Was that any of you guys?? 8)

So far so good on the Battlewings. I'm almost 5000 miles into them and they are holding up well. 98% of my riding has been a mix of easy cruising to very aggressive slab, good on wet pavement. I've always been a fan of Avon Distanzias but if the BattleWings continue to perform I'll put another...

Hey guys, the Yamaha Demos are in Asheville, NC this weekend. I had a 30 minute test ride on a Super 10 this morning. I'll post a report when I get back home and have more time, probably Sunday. 8)

Just got my Skid Plate from Altrider, the craftsmanship is superb. Angles are square, welds are even, coating is smooth, mounting hardware is quality. If the fit is as good as the finish and I think it will be, it will be money well spent. AltRider Crash Bars are in route.

Does anybody that already has a Super 10 have any problems with it burning oil? As a KLR owner this is a sore spot with me.

A Yamaha Rep at the Greenville SC IMS told me that as of the end of January, 608 Teneres have been ordered. He said Yamaha wanted to get 1000 orders by March 31st. He also said that Yamaha is pleased with the orders so far considering that they have not been agressivily advertising the bike YET...

Does anybody know where the S10's are made, parts and assembly? Google is not specific. Also, is the clutch hydraulic or cable? I shall answer my own last question, just looked at a photo it shows a reservoir on the clutch side of the handlebars.

..... ordered a blue Tenere from my local dealer today, my KLR will be greaty missed. Looking forward to Deal's Gap and the Blue Ridge Parkway in the spring!
