Agree, Agree Agree, 2012 gen1 50,000 miles. Stock tune, stock clutch, Clutch jumper in since day 3 , upgraded the suspension after the rear shock blew at 36,000. No other issues. never have had to adjust the valves. Best bike I have every owned.
Not really! Less than a half of a half quart. Never need to add oil between changes and no it does not blow out into my air box. Handles it just fine.

It is a dry sump. Oil level in the tank, what you see in the glass,is not so important.
I change mine and refill with 4 qts. Hate having bottles sitting around with a splash of oil in.

With only 1000 miles on it I doubt it is air. Air will act the same all the time If it is an intermittent fade I would think it is a bad Master cyl. Take it back it is under warranty.
Tape on bleed screws is so wrong. The threads are not the seal.
