We rented a cabin at a place called Bass Champions Cabins very nice and basic if you are in the area don't forget to go to a bar called Cactus Jack's Great Southern atmosphereOh Wow that is chilly for that time of the year. I haven't been to Salt Springs yet. How did you like it? Where did you stay when you were there?
I was out on Tuesday but we got more snow here last night going up to 57F on Sunday-2 degrees Fahrenheit here this morning but it’s supposed to warm up nicely this afternoon
You have some great roadsEventually the rain gave us a short break...
Typically when I " re-start" the insurance it starts raining endlessly ( no matter what month I choose....).

Where in Italy are you? Looks northern, but I would have expected to see some snow in those pictures. The best part of it ....
It's just one of them literally 10-15 minutes away...
I have probably 8- 10 options I can choose without going too far.
Luckily I an spoilt lol
The bad news was they ran out of chili for lunch... They had old pictures on the wall from when they built the dam. Partly why we went looking for it.Crown King is awesome!
Definitely need to go back............
When I was there at the end of 2022, we showed up on "Taco Tuesday"..................It was Glorious! The bad news was they ran out of chili for lunch... They had old pictures on the wall from when they built the dam. Partly why we went looking for it.

If you do, I would advise not to ride it alone on the XT1200.One of these years I need to try the Senator hiway between Crown King and Prescott.

Thanks for the heads up. I usually know when to turn around. So you went from Prescott south? Did you go up or down that section? Typical for trails out here to have a sketchy section. When I was there at the end of 2022, we showed up on "Taco Tuesday"..................It was Glorious!

Most of the road is easy, but there is one small section on a fairly steep grade that the locals called "The Waterfall"
I was glad I had a riding-partner when we came upon this section.
We both had to help each-other through here.

While we were sitting there enjoying our lunch and a nice cold-beer at Crown King, this older fellow (one of the locals) was commenting about our bikes.
He says "You boys headed to Prescott? I wouldn't take those machines down the Senator Hiway.......you won't make it through that way"
Little did he know we had just came up that way.....................
It's a great ride! Awesome scenery! Just be aware of this section.
I definitely want to go back......................Need to pay a visit to the Cleator "Yacht Club"
I just saw the bike in the second photo. Wow.Thanks for the heads up. I usually know when to turn around. So you went from Prescott south? Did you go up or down that section? Typical for trails out here to have a sketchy section.
Was not familiar with the yacht club... Looks interesting. Saw signs for Mayer. We went through Bumble Bee.
