Thanks for the heads up. I usually know when to turn around. So you went from Prescott south? Did you go up or down that section? Typical for trails out here to have a sketchy section.

Was not familiar with the yacht club... Looks interesting. Saw signs for Mayer. We went through Bumble Bee.

Heading south from Prescott, this "Waterfall" section is on a steep uphill grade "Most" of the way to Crown King.
There's not a bypass that I know of, unless you divert over to Mayer and come up through Cleator.........
You might be able to come from the West on Wagoner Rd, but I'm not familiar with the forest roads on that side?

Best I can tell from Google-Maps it is in this section.

The Waterfall looks legit.
We were fully-loaded with all our camping-gear/luggage too, so we had to drop everything and make multiple treks through the Waterfall to carry it all up.
There was a couple minutes when we first encountered this, that we were contemplating turning around..................After I walked it up and down a couple times, and we discussed the best plan of action, we continued up the Waterfall.

Rode in cooler temps today. New bike officially has 300 miles on the clock. Motor is running at 158ish degrees to 176 which I prefer when breaking in the motor. Looking forward to the 600 miles (glitter) oil change :).

On a side note I was breaking in a RD350 years ago in the early springtime, and while laying on the tank reaching down feeling cylinders temps I saw flashing light from a squad car pulling me over. When the officer approached, he accused me of speeding to which I said there’s no way I was speeding as I’m just breaking in this motor. He repeated again that I was speeding and I said I’m just breaking in this motor and I’m only going 45 miles an hour. So I figured out he saw me going down the road laying on the gas tank thinking I was speeding when in fact, I was just checking the motor as I was breaking it in. I finally persuaded him to believe me that I would not be speeding with a freshly rebuilt motor. He left me alone and went back to his car, and I got a good laugh out of it!

"Some say", that the Super Tenere doesn't fully break-in until 5k miles. Some members mentioned it back a few years ago. And in retrospect, I do believe that mine had a little bit more chutzpah after 5k.

Lol. Chutzpah.…. thats a new one to me . I figured chutzpah was the sound they made when only running on one cylinder when going up a steep incline!

Rode this 340km round, well actually it’s more up and down, trip. Drew the route in a map with red below. Nature is awaking, cool! Turned north again when I saw the skylines of that overestimated shithole that is called our capital. Clear sky’s and 10*C but a hard wind from the east. All day riding with a hard sidewind made me fatigued. But still rode with a smile!

Rode from Longmont, CO to Burnet, TX this week for the Touratexas Rally. It was a great event with awesome people, and other than crossing through the panhandle, it was a beautiful ride.

I got a warning for going 15 mph over the speedlimit :p

Mt Ord and Fire Road 201 that I never explored before. First time I made it all the way up Ord. Snow was off the trail and I hiked up from the gate closure at the end of the trail. I could see the Fire road from Ord do went to check it out. It just kept going and going until I ran out of time and turned around.

Got out yesterday for a few hours before the storm, heavy sleet for the last few miles. Measured 18" of snow today on the patio and not supposed to stop until tonight/tomorrow morning. I thought that squirrel saw his shadow? So much for an early spring.View attachment 109837
At least you got out a bit. 18"and climbing! Yikes. Hopefully it will melt soon.
