I put plenty of that exhaust paste around the joint but as you slide the Akro pipe over the header pipe it pushes it all out as the clearance is minimal.
Also if you ever have to remove the pipe again it is a heck of a job to clean it all off before assembling again.
With the Yamaha crush washer...
If you are going to fit a sat nav to front bar, the side brackets will need some sort of extra support each side for rigidness to stop vibration.
There are many threads here in relation to it.
Avoid Akropovic.
They dont utilise a crush washer seal like the Yamaha stock, and rely on a metal to metal seal.

I find that if i slide a bit further back on the seat from my natural riding position it helps.
Its as though my lower back is getting compressed.
I will play around with tilting the handlebars forward or back etc but wondered...
