Please explain the 17inch front tire issue? Is a 19inch wheel/tire just a better performer? Hard to believe it would make that much difference, sorry I'm a newbie to DSing so my questions will be ignorant because I just don't know.
While smaller wheels are quicker steering, they tend to not work as well for holes, ruts and other surfaces found off-road. The larger wheels roll through these surfaces better.

Thanks Rod, I sorta figured that I just wasn't sure how big of a difference that 17 vs 19 was but I guess a 15 vs 17 would be huge too..

I sat on a Multistrada at the IMS. The seating was almost as comfortable as the S10 for me. The front tire is 17" and yet Ducati claim off road abilities. The Multistrada looks like a sporty adv. bike. It is probably not meant do anything serious off road. As mentioned, they would have to manufacture 17 inch knobbies. :)

i'd be curious to see someone truely use the Multi for some off roading. I know people have done stupid Shiit with bikes, but we all know what the overall results are.
