Did you weigh them before installing? The Yosh is way smaller. More restrictive or a lot louder?

Modified it myself with a Dremel tool. I played around with a few patterns then ended up with what you see.

Sweet looking exhaust, but I gotta ask - where'd you get the heat shield? Or did you modify the original, and if so, how?

The sound is really good. Deeper tone then the Arrow at idle with a nice bark when you are on it. I never ran my arrow with the db killer and won't with this. I really like the small size.

You have good eye. Yes I modified my passanger foot rest. It's no longer a foot rest :D. I'm not giving rides.

Whow! is a lot smaller than the Arrow! ::012::

What about the sound? ::017::

What you've done with the passenger foot res?, it looks as if it is modified?

Great looking bike!

Fantastic! Have been waiting to see what Yoshi would come up with. I was looking at a Leo Vince but I love the Yoshi pipes. Looks good on the bike. It may be a short pipe but the link pipe is longer. Would be interesting to see how that works with the Tenere?

Hate to keep asking non-exhaust questions....but:

Did you paint your grab-handles black? Reason I ask is that I'm currently in the process of flat-blacking some hardware and am just wondering...

Nice looking can and the price is right, I have the Arrow and certainly don't like that they welded that tab for shield bumper near the end.

Here is a little sound teaser done tonight with my iPhone. The sound is OK recorder on my phone. I will get some better video up later.

And the poor starting was from my son pushing the starter button for me ;)

So, which one do you think you are going to keep? Please compare and contrast...

I was going to add, that it sort of sounds like my two brothers, with the x tip in.
I do like the fact that the pipe is much shorter than the other aftermarket offerings.
did they say how often it needs a repack?
two bros says every 5 thou miles of 'racing use' ::)

This is a reply that I received from the folks at yosh. "as far as the packing goes it really depends on the way you ride but I would say anywhere between 2500 to 7000 miles."

I don't understand why the repacking is necessary so frequently with aftermarket pipes. Do they use different material, or is it more of a performance edge? The stock pipe doesn't seem to need it at all. You would need to repack at least twice on a trip to Alaska!!

The stock pipe (almost all stock pipes) are all metal with metal baffles, no fiberglass or other packing. They are large, heavy and generally don't sound great, but don't need any maintenance...
