Sooo. Did your stars align? They were setting up a new tenere for someone while I was picking mine up. It was getting factory bags on it. I was hoping it was yours.

Yes indeed! I took it home yesterday. I can’t wait to get through the break-in stage so I can ride it how I want. Only 850 miles more to go

Congrats on the new bike! What cool new farkles are you putting on? I have an engine/gaurd coming. I can’t license mine until SV sends me the mso so I can get it titled. So i have stealthy put on 75 miles. I did get it insured and was surprised how little the insurance was.
I am hoping to get an skid/bash plate and some panniers for it in the not so distant future. I am a bit tapped out on funds for the time being though

Just some little things for now. I've ordered a RaveTech Heel Guard kit, Fenda Extenda, a shock cover and an instrument cluster screen protector. I'd like to order a Ventura headlight guard as well but so far it appears they won't fit a 2016. Also looking for options for mounting my GPS to the cross bar behind the screen. Eventually it'll be decked out with a bunch of AltRider stuff but I'll need to sneak that stuff in over time.

Just be cautious with the Fenda Extenda when you add a skid plate. With the travel of the forks, we have had a few members catch their Extenda on the plate, and break off the Extenda as well as part of the factory fender.

Interesting. I wonder if trimming off a half inch to an inch off the Extenda would cure that. Thoughts?

I've been one of those guys. I trimmed about an inch off and never had a problem again. Scary when it catches!
