Yesterday, Quick ride up as far as we could go on 4 Peaks. Recent snow and cold at elevation.
The iconic profile of 4 Peaks is on the Arizona license plate. Looking forward to when the snow goes away.

A nice mostly dirt road loop. Mostly smooth and fast. One good water crossing in Dudleyville I should have captured.

Hippo Hands or something similar. One pair of gloves year round.

Ah yeah I was looking into these. Even with regular riding gloves, you stay warm despite the ambient temperature?
They are legit. I prefer the mid-sized hippo hands. The big ones are too big for me, and my hands would actually get too hot.

This is last Saturday about 7:45 AM at my favorite overlook on Hwy 9 in the Santa Cruz mountains... about 30 min from home in San Jose, CA. The bike had been apart for about 2 mos for a valve check (Holidays, Travel etc) but now it's back together and no issues.

No where special, just the gym. It was mid-50s today. Was kinda surprised a this much ice still around from earlier in the week. I've been able to get at least one day a week of riding in since about this time last year.

It got up in the low 60's today so I took a ride up rte.13 towards Jacksonville. Overcast and drizzling a bit but not a bad day for a quick 100 mile loop.

I certainly do! Now that I'm retired I plan to take a motorcycle trip coast to coast. It has been on my "bucket list" for a long time. Gotta start planning and figure out how to work in some of those great rides out west when I do the coast to coast trip. Any suggestions are most appreciated.

. What have you added to yours aside from the bag on the rear and skid plate? What skid plate is that? Are you adding anything else?
