Finally made it over to the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa Iowa. They are permanently closing after this weekend. Almost everything there will be sold at auction next week. Too many pictures to post them all.

Thanks for the reminder holligl, I went today, the final day of opening. Sorry to see such a gem of motorcycle history move on. It amazed me.

Garbage picture, but, I rode down the Wisconsin side (35) to whitewater state park, and was able to get a camping site (didn't reserve for labor day weekend because I'm new)
Went back up the Minnesota side (61) in the morning.
Everything went smooth for a shakedown/trial run.

Funny thing, I temp mounted a battery from my other bike into the helmet box, and thought my grip-warmers were unplugged. NOPE. I bumped the knob while filling up on gas and found them working after carrying on. So rad!

Went out to a little spot near the house. Buried both the S10 and TDub in some mud. The E07s with that center rib ain't the best, but also not aired down. The TDub getting a atv rear conversion soon. Also found that in getting some handlebar movement on the S10. Just a bit of pivoting when it tips over, but a light trap or push the other way lives everything back up.

We've never had the TW in deep mud, but the OE knobbies let it go up a wet grassy hill sideways. I wouldn't think those tires are going to give the same traction.
