Shame I didn't know you was going could have met up go there now and then from Leicester give me a shout next time bud we could grab a coffee in townJ&S Accessories in Finedon. Treated myself to a pair of Rukka Goretex gloves.
I wish i could find a pair of winter gloves which actually keep your hands warm. Tried them but apart from feeling like wearing boxing gloves was not impressed. Also the heated grips can make your hands sweat in gortex gloves which I don't like. With the muffs on which most people don't like i can ride in summer gloves and if it's raining i use Held Outdry gloves which are like Gortex laminated and nice to ride in. Each to their own though and whatever works for anybody is great.J&S Accessories in Finedon. Treated myself to a pair of Rukka Goretex gloves.
Are muffs Hippo Hands? 'Cuz if so, and I rode in the cold on a regular basis, that's what I would use for the same reason. But I thought those things were waterproof. Guess not.. . . . Yeah, tricky finding the right gloves for all conditions. In reality we need a few pairs to cover all situations. I don’t ride through the depths of winter, so proper cold weather gloves aren’t required. The Rukka ones are early preparation for my Scandinavian trip next year, where I’m likely to see a fair amount of rain in chilly to coldish weather, rather than proper cold. Added bonus and a priority for me was no liner that pulls out if there’s any moisture whatsoever on your hands. The boxing glove description is perfect and far far from an ideal biking glove, thankfully the Rukka pair I got have plenty of feel.I wish i could find a pair of winter gloves which actually keep your hands warm.
