You are correct. My son got a lot of smiles todayI give you credit. Takes some stones and a great attitude to ride with Elmo on your lid. And Kudos for making people smile, including me. How can you not smile when you see that?
About 1 week ago I when to corbin seats HQ about 2 hours away from san fan to have my seat adjusted. The owner said I could tour the shop. I ate at there in house restaurant. Also camped at one of pismo beaches campgrounds. Total 2 days, 700 miles and hwy 1 there and 101 back to LA.
Within one year of purchase you can have one adjustment done. I had a tapper done to the front making it narrower and changing the drop of my leg. It took about 3 hours. Per the tech more major changes can be done and from the sound they dont charge. Sounds like yours is down to choice of material. If I would have done it again I would have gone in person to have it built and test out a seat to see if I like the material and thickness etc. Mine is just right when it comes to grip and it feels very soft imo. I think its vinyl if I remember correctly.exactly what kind of adjustment did Corbin do for you ? I happen to use a Corbin seat on my Tenere, it’s mostly pretty comfortable but I wish it wasn’t so slippery and a slightly softer would also be nice.
Trick is to ride side saddle so you can draft the hot air from the radiator side on both legs not just one.Had on a pair of Wrangler jeans, with no base layer underneath, and knees got a little cool, but not enough to send me home. Everything else stayed warm, also. I could have easily ridden a couple hundred miles, but didn't want to worry the wife too much, so came home after about an hour.
I'm definitely going to do more cool/cold weather riding.
Might be the last ride of the year here. 230 miles just goofing around.
