It took it on a test ride home.

Yesterday Flew interstate, bus transfer and 4 hour train trip... last night I saw the bike and it started, gave the man cheque, FARKLED it with GPS, Windscreen Spoiler and Grip Puppies. Loaded it up then went to bed

Spent the night and my test ride today was 950 km home with a 20!5 XT1200ZE

Bad influence, :))

You wont be disapointed, let me know when you planing to come and I can help you with some routes.

You must do a good search on the rentals, some okes are over prized with their rentals, I know here at the coast (Wildernis) is a oke that also do rentals (XT 660 Z), if you want I can help you to search for a good and reliable rental company in SA.
I plan on using this company in 2018;

I meet the owner at one of the Motorcycle Shows here in Jan. Nice Guy!!

Get a new set of rubbers put on!
Got almost 6k out of the rear 805 Shinko could have pulled another thousand out of it, the front 804 had some more to go but I switch to the 705 again all around.

Why What?
Needed a new set front tire was starting to cup out of control, my fault didn't check the tire pressure and it was to late to correct itself.
I am doing more highway riding so went with the 704 Shinko still looking for a job save on gas and my Ranger is getting tired.
And the weather is brilliant right now! ;)
I must add the 805 804 shinko's are a good tire.

6 miles to work and back, busy city riding + filtering - after 500 miles with th ebike I'm getting sufficiently familiar with it's size, weight & throttle behaviour to throw it around in traffic

How many miles are you getting out of the Stinko's?
I assume the 700 series is less dirt than the 800 series? Is that right?

Rode to dinner, Jack's Urban Eats, with friends. I was overdressed for a very nice night ride.

When I first saw the title of the thread I thought, "aren't all these guys RIDING everywhere? If this is a thread about TAKING the bike someplace it's gonna have like two replies per year."

I get it now. Can't wait to pick mine up on Tuesday and TAKE it from Texas back here to Virginia.
