204 miles of Arizona dirt with @hollingl today. Hit at least 65 mph probably more than I ever did on Iowa gravel. Had lunch at a Mexican restaurant but did not even think to look at the Moto-tag thread.

Showing the route. Bob failed to mention his boot washing in the San Pedro River! Then I took a Salsa bath at lunch...

Saltwater will freeze . . . . it just has to be colder than 32F. I'd get a super thin layer on my wet suit as I was coming out of the water. Like shave ice.

Most of Mt Lemmon and Saguaro NP (east)
With a couple Gold Wings. Didn't make it to the summit as the wind killed the mileage on the big bikes. I told them the could coast all the way down, but we will go back on a warmer day. The East side park is a one way loop. The west side is better, in my opinion, if you ever visit and need to pick one or the other.

I went for my first ride from my new to me house in Washington. Sure not as dry or as warm as the previous posts. The temps in town were about 50 as I headed up towards Chinook pass which I knew was closed, but I wanted to see how far up the canyon I could get. I made it to the Bumping Lake turn off before the snow and ice started covering the road. The turn off is about 38 miles from Naches. I had a t-shirt on and the shell of my jacket, but I waited way too long before putting my other layers on. Lots more shade in the canyon on the way back as the sun was starting to go down. I am still chilled an hour after getting home. Saw lots of FS roads to explore once the snow fades away.

Slippery glass like ice from melting and re-freezing

Right past the sign is where the snow and ice started on the main road going to the pass.

Which one is an easy pick. It's the coolest one there, the rest is are just minions.
The Tenere would be my choice every time. That Rocket 3 is a legit bad ass though. But yes, the rest (including that older RT) are just minions.
