. . . . and I never heard of the KLR before you guys here started talking about it. Not a big succes in our country. I did spot one here in Austria though.
Makes me wonder if Kawi, and Yamaha talked about who sold what, and where. 'Cuz, the KLR was discontinued, and the T-7 was introduced. But, on the other hand, the KLR is back.

Picture of the week was probably the biggest Elk I’ve ever seen, it walked across the road about 15 feet in front of the lead rider, it had climbed out of a very steep ditch with a lot of brush, the first thing I saw was the huge rack, when it got on the road it stopped to turn its head to look at us then fortunately it just continued walking. Just wish I could have gotten a picture when it was on the road it was beautiful ! That was in or near Evergreen Colorado

Hi, today I did a ride with my friend Everardo and also went Luis Rodolfo and his wife Elvira.

This is the route we did:
Tlalpuhahua.png
The round trip took us from 10am till 5pm and had only 150 mi, but we did enjoy the ride, had some light rain about 50% of the trip but all went vey well.
Some pictures of the ride, the first was ready for breakfast at the El Carnalito restaurante, where we had sheep meat tacos and quesadillas, then we waited for Luis Rodolfo and his wife and left to El Oro.

Then Tlalpuhahua where they make christmas glass spheres all year around

Tlalpuhaua and El Oro were a mining towns, so we visited Tiro Norte (the mine access)

This is the train used to run from Mexico City to Tlalpuhahua, probably 50 years a go and now this train car is kept and use as a restaurant.

Than we headed to the Brokman dam

Then we had lunch at the Villa Victoria lake and head back home
I hope all had a great sunday like I did and be prepared for a good working week.

If you Google directions to a place, dirt roads are not going to be one of the options. The dirt roads may be out there, but you have to know where to look.

Do you have mostly asphalt everywhere in America?
In Mexico I will say that the Freeways or Higways, and some secondary roads have pavement, but with many patches, and also dirt roads and some of them with a lot of landslides or erosion, but we do have the fortune to be able to ride them in a bike whitch makes it a lot of fun and
enjoyable!
It will be good to have a thread to show roads around the globe!!
Have a good working week!
