Ditto. Donated to the European economy myself.

Been riding for 40 years. What a huge advancement in surround-awareness this simple invention affords! Brilliant.

Actually it was yesterday. Got it muddy in some rain showers coming and going to Alpine Tunnel, Co.

Alpine Tunnel

P.S. New suspension parts worked great. I was 2up with Jean. Whole loop was about 11 hour ride, long day.
Awesome area! Did a mountain bike race there called the Vapor Trail 125. Cam over the pass from the other side into Alpine at daybreak, went down that road jsut about double your speed on my MTB .... but it weighs 25lbs! Did you guys go over Tomichi Pass on your way out? I might have to head down there to get out of this heat on the Fron Range.

That would be some race on a bike! We did do some more passes, not sure where I was, we had a good leader. Salida has been nice, still getting up to low 90s but lots of cooler places around.

My spot track for that day. http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0oqmJLPIXDgMhZPA5CXyoVfJi3zhZQkbh

Accepted the autotune trims into my PCV on what i expect to be the last for awhile. Thanks to Jaxon & protondecay the thing runs like a rocket and no more intermittent surging at low speed.

On to suspension now...

See the new PowerCommander Maps sub-forum on this site? How about posting some maps, along with ALL the relevant details such as:

Your goal with this particular map, i.e. increased fuel economy, top end speed, low end grunt, off-road, etc....
Stock or modded intake/exhaust. If modded state exactly what was changed.
Altitude you are at
Fuel you are using
Riding style
Fuel Mileage (before/after would be great)
Autotune or not
plus.........

I was forced to ride through a chip-seal project and watched the other bikes struggle while the ST rolled right through with no problem ::008:: ::022::

Picked up a hood for my navi after staring into glare for most my recent 2500km trip to Hokkaido (northernmost island of Japan).

It folds into this
[smg id=1023]

If you're planning on doing any riding in Japan, I would put Hokkaido at the top of the list...definitely the closest thing to biker nirvana that this country has to offer for more than just obvious reasons. I plan to return with K60s to explore some of the less-accessable roads at the nothern end. I would have given it a go with the OEM tires, but the rear already had 8000KM on it when I embarked on this 'adventure!' Still waiting on my new tires to arrive (K60s) ::016::

Went to Ft Worth to Ride on Adv and had a set of K60 Scouts installed, ordered the fork guards from Jaxxon, and a set of Pazzo levers, with a set of Texas Tenere Decals - The heat was was just a lttile to much so I decided to take I-35 back home, I figured it would be "fairly" quick for the 180 mile ride home. ::) About 3 mile south of Hillsboro, I start smelling smoke, it is getting worse, Like anyone else on a bike, you begin to do the " AM I ON FIRE?" scan on the bike. Nothing. I crest a small hill, and see a truck towing an open trailer, with furniture. I feel better knowing that I was not on fire, but the trailer is!!!!! ??? So I pin the throttle and start weaving like crazy thru traffic, with the CHIPS theme in my head. ::26:: As I get next to the driver, he realizes he is on fir, and blows the brakes and pulls to the shoulder . I go on by, turn around and drive in the grass to get back him. as I get off, the doofus is trying to unload a burning trailer. I try in my best voice to tell him that is not a good idea (STUPID) and perhaps we should unhitch the trailer. By now it is going pretty good, and he tries to unhook, but now it is too hot, so he does a Bruce lee on the hitch and breaks it. I go back and redial 911 and add that now we will have a truck and a trailer on fire soon. A construction guy shows up with a huge pipe wrench and hands it to Bruce Lee to get the trailer off, but by now the flames are too hoy, so I put my 600 dollar SHOIE back on and go try, I start pounding on the rusted release and finally get it, I turn to holler at the guy to go go go go! and look at the furniture in the bed, THE DAMN VARNISH IS BUBBLING! and my glove prints are in the plastic of this truck! He drives off and I start running and the spare tire explodes! what a great fun ride this was! The pic below was a few seconds after the truck was moved, the other is what was left.

OH I like the K60,s They seemed to have all of the qualities I want, I was able to test high speed on the highway, off road, and braking all in a 2 mile stretch. I recommend them! :))

Slick unit. ::008:: I just use some tape and cardboard if the glare gets to bothering me. ;)

I have to wave to the S10 as I back the blazer out of the garage today to drive the 6 hours to Grand Junction, CO. :'( SO's BMW is broken so we can't ride. Up side, we are going to get our marriage licence on Monday so we can get married in CO. ::014:: ::014::

@GGeorge11 - You have too much fun! BTDT, but only the trailer wheel was on fire and it went out nicely once he pulled off.

Gathered some more stuff for my 10-day solo trip through the Alps. Doing the Route des Grande Alpes with some offroad parts in the neighbourhood (Col de Sommeiller, Monte Jafferau, Col du Parpaillon, LGKS,... check youtube for some a glimpse on the scenery). Departing on friday, can't wait :)
