Well yesterday actually, but I replaced both fork seals. The right one had been leaking on and off. “Fixed” it twice with a seal cleaner, only to have it start leaking again a couple of months later. The left one had been solid but noticed a little weep so changed it too. New Redline Lightweight synthetic fluid as well. Ran through all the ES settings after reassembly - no errors no fouls.

Is that stock tune?
Not sure what you mean by (stock Tune) but those are stock spark plugs and ECM.
Other than different tires, different windshield, tankbag, windshield braces, air deflectors, LED headlights, LED auxiliary lights, Thunder Box, crash bars, helmet lock, skid plate, GPS , Corbin seat and shock socks my bike is stock. Wow that list is longer than I thought and I probably forgot a couple things !

Think that answered the question. Was curious if the ecu fueling or other parameters had been modified.

So what’s your thoughts on the color of the plug tips ? they seem a little dark to me but lately all it’s been used for is short trips to town and back, I’m thinking some longer and higher speed trips might turn the color a little lighter.

New Lithium LifePo4 battery since some d*ck toast my old one. Oh that was me too…
Didn’t have a dedicated lithium charger yet so when it was flat last fall i put it on a normal charger for half an hour. Damage done, battery served me very well upon then. Tried to revive her with a Ctek lithium charger which i bought too late, i know. But didn’t work, installed the same brand again. Again surprised with the weight, only 0,8kg. Now have a wall mounted dedicated charger for the bike. That fault cost me 100 for the battery and 100 for the charger.
Picture below is the comparison with the old YTZ12S (which i replaced in 2018 with the first lithium one,(green)) and now the second lithium one (blue). Foam pieces are to fill the battery holder.

Surprised by the black carbon. But 40k miles…. Yam likes to run lean for emissions but fat on open throttle for safety, maybe for those guys running 87 octane . They’ve been right for over a decade on this bike so can’t find fault with that.

The only one that even looks a little dark is the third from the left. And it could be the angle, but the gap looks bigger than the other three too. I was thinking that for 40k miles they looked pretty good. (My kid skipped a plug change or two in his truck. To the point it was throwing an error code. When we pulled them, the gap was ridiculously large.)

I'm interested in what charger you used that ruined your lith battery because I have always used a regular charger on my Shorai's for years with no problem. (either Battery Tender or Schumacher) The only thing I ever heard about using a regular charger is to not use a desulfating one, which I don't.

The only one that i had at the house at that moment. Some 40year old thing, probably overcharged it as in the voltage was to high (>15V).

Put it on the lift! Now to dig in for a clean and lube session. May change the tires for the Georgia trip. I've been wanting to get it this far for some time. Car shopping all done, tools squared away. Now for some bike TLC... the whole corral needs things done.

You got the same lift I have! Only you also bought the set for extra width. Can I ask what just the lift cost? For comparison mine was €900ish delivered at my house. And pneumatic or hydraulic foot pump? I got the pneumatic.
